Huddersfield March 30th 2019. One of 4 teams relegated wth 6 games to go. Burnley set to beat this!

I guess I'm just lamenting the fact that we don't have a central striker. Sammi's goals should be the icing on the cake, not the cake. -

He is for us! I was thinking more widely. He definitely should have scored 2, that first chance was a gimme. -

Thinking how many he should have got in addition to those he did! He should have been the sensation of the season. -

Yes he did, came on late, got injured in the short period he was on and has hardly been seen since. In any case since when was Walsall a Championship team? Not sure what your point is tbh. -
2 of 3 usually do though? Seems that way, I haven't checked.

They've beaten it haven't they?

Shouldn't it be "I've never felt less like singing the blues"? -
I would prefer to be a yo-yo club than to be in our position. At least it guarantees its future. But as the article says, it does make you wonder what its all about! Maybe in future you just shun the season in the Premiership and return for the promotion season. Saves you a lot of grief and dosh!

Good article on Burnley's problems in the Guardian too! https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/nov/24/is-the-premier-league-really-the-holy-grail-for-supporters

The gulf between the under-21's and championship football not a reason? -
When we signed him and when he first played, some wondered whether he would be good enough. I didn't read what you read.
-
He's going backwards! From a low base!

Matt Woods?

And Australia were just so utterly professional. Ruthless.

I fear we'll lose this one and the nerves will be jangling again. -
Sorry, yes I did. Fixed.

Faultless performance from the Aussies. Formidable opponents. I felt they would win after that wonderful out-field catch from Travis Head early on. Can't remember a better one. They really do perform on the big stage. Good to see Indian nationalism get a pin-prick. After 10 wins in a row, the Indian supporters thought they had it in the bag. Great party-poopers the Aussies. I wish England could be at their best when its needed.

Aren't City facing over a 100 charges of breaking financial rules? What's happened to that?

Well how would you fancy 52000 at the old ground? Twice in 4 days! But for some reason the City game was more scary. Big sway on the Riverside! -

I remember a pole with barbed wire wrapped round it being thrown at us. Went over my head ( so to speak). -
He clearly isn't.

Both could play 90 mins week in week out.

Not like Brereton at all. He was fit but not picked because in his first 2 years he was hopeless. Ennis simply isn't fit and has an alarming injury history.
