  1. Perhaps it was something the opposition did that prompted the change of mind for the subs.
  2. Give him chance and hopefully he will the insurance money from his Rangy will get him a nice little terrace oop north !
  3. Its taken on a life of its own by now we've gone from bench, pitch after the game, outside the stadium to the inner sanctum of the dressing room.
  4. Think there's a lot of assumption going on with this Dack thing it's likely nothing more than a player really wanting to get on and being pissed off he didn't. From his point of view he'll see himself still as the main man here and he's lost his father figure manager who maybe pandered to him a bit. There'll be a new pecking order now they'll all have to get used to after 5 years of the last one.
  5. Not when they are doing on purpose they won't. With very little if any resistance from western Govts driving the great net zero reset.
  6. Whitaker definitely has some talent although another big mismatch imo, he's sure a marmite character though and i'm not keen on the dicking about. Some v poor match ups on that card but the main event lived up to its billing and got the right result. Meanwhile on the other side Josh Kelly continues to flatter to deceive.
  7. The old Manchester on the lash dream team can resume now then if Benni is back in the area.
  8. In typical fashion from one of the huge plastic clubs the comments on McCarthy were really something when it was announced on twitter 'Who ?' 'Never heard of him' 'Did he coach a big club before ?' 'Who the hell is this guy' 'I think he played for West Ham or Everton once' On another note is Chris Samba still at Ewood and if so what does he do ?
  9. 'Journey' to me just sounded like we'll keep meandering on doing and saying the same things and see if we end up anywhere. 'Project' sounds like a building job with an actual target in mind so to me it's a right enough term i don't think this fella is a water treader.
  10. We need a few luxury players though because he has unique ability to turn a game that nobody else there does. He can still play a big part this season even used as a sub or infrequent starter. They could find someone who's more athletic for sure but how does a club with our present wage structure replace that kind of flair.
  11. I'd like to think he'll evolve it as he goes along and adds a few players suited to his style. Hopefully he's a manager who knows how he wants to play and does his best to convince the DoF to bring in players to fit this. The impression with Mowbray was mostly he'd grab who he could as long as they fit his nice lad criteria then try and fit them in.
  12. Good effort today and good win against a side who'll be around the top 8 probably. Bit too much of the possession obsession again though which doesn't suit a lot of our players although it covers the defence well. Also a bit worrying a few of them looking so knackered the last ten mins in the first game ! Hopefully JDT gets to grips with these things as time goes on, can't complain though a nice 3 points already.
  13. Is he handing out free STs as well or something ! Why can't he translate his sales pitch in person to the wider fanbase using the channels easily available to him ? We have a Head Coach now not a manager who acts like a line manager being accountable to explain everything. Time for some in the shadows at Ewood to grow a spine, earn their money and step forwards.
  14. Perish the thought some people still receive cash payments, must all be Tory capitalists then. Obviously a Labour Gocvt would never let this happen... Disclaimer. Never let politics an football overlap 🤐
  15. It goes like this... Some spurs agent sees a kid with potential he can get for next to nothing with a bit of smooth talking. Goes back to Spuds and tells them we can get this lad for nothing, play him in our U23s for a bit. Then he's branded a Spurs youth product then we can loan him out for a fee every season for next 5 years. Easy money, stupid lad.
  16. Fling him out the squad pronto then if this is true. Then we'll watch him disappear never to be heard of again.
  17. And i'm saying it sounds like a minimum 1200 regardless of nee trains. Not sure QPR would bring many more anyway like.
  18. Someone on twitter was saying they'd sold 1,200 so it's a healthy following expected.
  19. Including STs there has to be around 10k already sold of not far off so probably another two or 3k will turn up including away fans who'll bring more than usual. All set to break the 12k barrier....... 🙄
  20. I can't wait for it to get going two clubs with a new manager bounce and hopefully non of this over complicating over thinking the opposition stuff. Should be a decent game. Walk on folks, walk on.
  21. All set up for someone else to swoop in or him to accept a new Blackpool offer then.
  22. The whole evening was a surreal experience.
