Just my opinion and always has been but i'm very suspicious of the overal wage bill at Rovers and the losses. Despite the cuts every now and again the owners not only seem happy to pour it through but almost encourage it at times. Maybe some gets drawn out funding somebody in this end as well on the clubs books. Barrys european spending money maybe. It never seems to add up though and lets face it the football industry will be full of loopholes regarding big money. That's why it's a honeypot attracting the wealthy with money to be burn and the chancers only too happy to burn it for them.

Having that settled back 4 and top keeper has earned that point today despite the lack of nous in front of them. At least we are now able to grind out points when the side isn't clicking and the manager is more interested in fulfilling his loan obligations.

Re-engage, get a good 5k back in and rebuild with the aim of keeping them.

Borrowed money to buy then probably squaring the borrowings with profits as they go along. Chuck a 3 year extension in front of him and the foot will come off the gas before the ink is dry. Then it's all about the journey again, narrative reset. Lets do it properly this time not letting sentiment or fear get in the way. By the same token if they are all set for change and not going to renew it whatever then he should be given the opportunity the leave in good grace. He'd get a good send off that way.

There's no way they'd be paying top dollar required to get it, no way. You don't go so far in such a short time in business by having your pants pulled down.
