  1. That should go out after the watershed ! No doubt he's expecting a full state funeral the c###!
  2. Not when it comes to Evans it isn't he's been managed around his International career since he's been here. Probably just having a rest or treatment for something or other before the build up starts to his next stint in green.
  3. 100% and Evans aren't two things that are normally associated.
  4. He keeps saying 'we'll see what happens' in regards to summer. A small part of me is now thinking he's agreed to step aside at the end of the season. Not sure how that would pan out though as a winning run might see it kyboshed. Even if not he'll probably still be here in some capacity till his contract runs out So would Venus, probably in his place. It would probably suit the finances better though and save a pay off now which might have penalty clauses attached to it. Not sure it'll work out great for the football side of it though. It' time his influence on that was removed altogether.
  5. The main issue again i reckon is the void between here and India. Why are people at the club so happy to divert large chunks of their multi million quid annual donation towards the likes of Brereton and Gallagher but not the pitch or stadium ? Why do they keep extending contracts of those who contributed nothing or carry others until they see fit and are fit to go and play for someone else . Yet don't put money into upgrading the training comlex if it's so urgently needed ? Why do we keep giving contracts to Middlesbrough cast offs but not relay the pitch ? Could it possibly be it's easier to make a few extra quid and a few quid for mates that way but not so easy if spending on fixed assets ? Just a thought...
  6. We should have been doing that more often this season away from home against stronger sides. Just look to grind out a result, maybe pinch something. Whilst he isn't really in the target man mould other than his size, i always feel Gallagher could do a job running the line up top and defending from the front. Sadly with this manager we know he prefers to play chess with his own side after looking at the opposition. Then tip tap about and take plaudits from the opposition manager after losing.
  7. It's just stereotypical Venkys though isn't it. He said he flew to India in summer after relegation not knowing if he was being kept on or what budget he'd get. Now he might well have been billy bullshitting with that but it sounds plausible. So this summer will be no different they'll want him sat in front of them, they'll swallow his sob stories. He'll get a contract extension and budget and off we go again. Then somewhere into next season they'll probably sack him out the blue and cost the club another fortune. Then Phil Brown or someone will parachute in after offering to do it for 2 grand a week till the end of the season. They'e learned absolutely sweet FA and never will.
  8. So basically another who only belongs on twitter and struggles to cope with the real world. They do tend to crumble with anything outside of their own thought bubbles.
  9. Another close defeat will be tough to stomach but we need a point or three so might be time to stomach Mowbrays absolute nonsense if we get some. Lets face it if we get pasted 4 nil he'll still stand there conducting the biggest denial circus in modern football. And he'll still be drinking tea at Brockall come Monday and sulking about having to walk between 2 sites.
  10. Tony's summer targets... Keep as many ageing injury prone pals as he can and as many youngsters as poss. So as to throw under the bus and keep the journey/young team line going. Sell or let go the rest and replace with loans. Job done.
  11. That's what kind of prick you're dealing with right there. And why his opinions on it aren't worth a toss.
  12. Why can't the owners be asked for it and expected to stump up for it ? I don't get this line of we can't keep asking the owners it's their responsibility and partly their fault its been neglected. It's a vital piece of kit for a professional football club i'd have thought. You don't get eggs without hens so how do they expect football without a pitch ? Utterly bonkers when they'll happily spew millions on investment players we don't need on the suggestion of a manager and their agent pals. This club is all wrong from the bottom to the top still.
  13. I'll say it again the Journey is just a strapline to India, a sales pitch if you like. There is no journey with this team how could there be ? Half of it might be gone in summer. So really it's outright bull he's just saying please stick with me i want to keep this cushy job and keep all my mates in wages.
  14. Exactly ! The work of another protecting his pals and playing Waggots narrative.
  15. I don't know why some are getting angry with the opinions of a few ten bob columnists. They aren't even real journos. IF they were they'd be asking the proper questions and instead of 'why now when they are on a bad run' - bad being a nice description of it- They should have been asking about the timing of trying to sell half the training ground with only back of a fag packet plans for what comes next. They should be asking why the club is trying to go down this road when we are in a pandemic. When we are in our most unproductive season in years ? Why now ? Why aren't they asking the real questions ?
  16. An opinion widely shared i reckon. This thing was a cat that got out of the bag before it went in the water. It was written all over Waggots face, he didn't get chance to grease the wheels properly before they made it public. Seems he's been spending his time up here cosying up with the right people on the local authorities. This is the same BWD council who wouldn't let Jack Walker pay for a railways station at Ewood ! Its stunk to high heaven from the off it's pure chancer stuff, sooner he gets his backside away from here the better. Sadly only another plonker will step in but whoever leaked this deserves to never buy another drink in his local.
  17. I think most would agree Mowbrays time, of the first few years were a positive for the club. I think the man himself has to take a lot of credit for that but it's been clear a long time now his ceiling has been reached. Not sure where Waggot fits into that though, pretty much an exec director was urgently needed and we got one. Like his boss though i think he was pretty quickly found out at championship level and has desperately been rooting around looking for something to justify him and his mammoth salary. No idea what he's done behind the scenes but i'm sure he's made some contributions. However setting about to squeeze a dwindling fanbase, close more of the ground and piss of another few hundred into jacking it in, penalize those who arrive late to pay on the day. Then try and cash in half the training ground behind a veil of 'state of the art all under one smaller roof' . I really think the game is up for him. Throw in so many out of contract and maybe losing a few good young players because of that. Not many ringing endorsments there are there !
  18. I could maybe see the whole site or a larger part of it getting passed if they were moving the training ground and everything off it. They might have to leave it empty for a while first though. Hopefully this is the end of the nonsense and it really was just a Waggot and co driven whim.
  19. I wouldn't because it would still be a down scale. Simple fact of all this is that's what it was, i love the way they've changed the name to training ground investment scheme ! What a set of wankers they really are down there these days. What they have already is somewhat of a jewel in the crown at the heart of BRFC. If they'd any real intention of 'investment scheme' they would upgrade whatever it is needed as it is and make the most of the fantastic stuff they have. Making it better should be the aim not stream line it on the whim of a low end football consultant and bread and nutter manager who's trying to con everyone he's a second tier Pep.
  20. Wouldn't be surprised if plan b is to flog the whole lot next and rebuild smaller somewhere cheaper. There'll be a few noses out of joint with this possibly.
  21. Glad you see it as good news but as for the rest as usual you are probably 5000 miles off the mark.
  22. The guy should be ripped into little pieces by ANY half decent journo with a pair of balls. The stuff he comes out with is meat and drink it's like a boxer standing thee with his hands down. Unbelievable how he can get away with such contradictory dog shit week after week, month after month. He's embarrassing. Soon as he mentions possession and performance again after another defeat there's your chance boys !
  23. The ownership thick as it is are probably shrugging their shoulders thinking if we drop again we'll come straight back again. Only cost them a seasons championship budget and about 2 million in transfer money. I think they'd find that again for one more season of Mowbray. Especially if it gives another opportunity for cost cutting and is balanced by 10 million in player sales. Then there is the land..... Never underestimate the stupidity of this lot and their pals before progress attitude.
