Time to leave him out for a while now the Nutt is the man and if possible get an impact sub with pace on loan along the lines of Chapman not some show pony from Chelsea or City. Send Ben back to the apprentices because that is what he is and let's have people who can contribute on the bench. If the season peters out later on he can throw him back in then but whilst there is something to play for let's have the strongest bench possible.

Please not that old chestnut again I mean however do other clubs survive and often out perform bigger ones ? Players are out there and quality is out there and if you can't find them then the key if you have to sign workman like players is get one's in that fit your system and the way you want to play. I think that's where we've fallen down all through Venkys tenure so it would be nice to step away from that especially when there was a few quid available. I do think the penny drops with Mowbray eventually it just takes him an age to realise it there's multiple examples so hopefully he sticks to it now and looks for first 11 players.

It would improve the atmosphere even if it's only the volume of grumbling that goes up a notch ?
-
That's what he needs one to go in off his arse or something we might see a different player over night then ?

There was a fair old price rise on STs in that summer before that Fulham opener and I think it was around the time ticket prices everywhere began to get really daft. Me and my gf at the time ours combined went up nearly 100 quid that's a hell of a whack. Definitely played a part in the crowds falling away then I remember we played Everton at home just after that with a similar amount of home fans and they didn't fill the bottom tier of the DE. Blackburn fanbase is price sensitive probably more than most others I don't care what anyone says, you've got to combine a good team, top level of football AND a feelgood factor to get anywhere with big prices. One offs are one offs whether cheap or dear and people will go if they want or not as the case may be but over all it is and always has been a price sensitive fanbase. Absolutely bang on about Kean even with the hit of relegation just keeping that vermin cost us two thousand or more who'd have stayed if they'd got rid, no doubt no doubt whatsoever.

Maybe the pay rises etc and the first instalment on BB used up any surplus there might have been in this seasons budget. He might not dare ask for anymore in case he gets told sell to buy.
-
It's fair enough Mowbray saying that and I agree but the problem he won't sign anyone like that he's more or less admitted it because of his loyalty to this group. Probably could have pushed the boat out for someone in summer as a reward for promotion but we somehow ended up with Brereton. He only seems to want to sign back up players not direct competition for key areas or if possible somebody better than we have. In a certain number of positions in the team it wouldn't take millions and twenty grand per week to upgrade so he really should be looking and using these windows for the improvement.

Lambert will try and get them working he upset a few here with his training sessions after they'd been in a lovely comfort zone for too long. One other thing about him though is he is very good at saying all the right things to disgruntled fanbases but not good on delivering much else. You'll probably have a little purple patch under him before the novelty wears off of and he announces he's leaving .......with yet another mutual settlement. Best of luck after Saturday.

Very much a middleman I reckon although how many he's in the middle of who knows ! Thing is if they want to try and build a bridge with the fanbase then having their own representation visible is surely a small step in the right direction. Absent owners aren't so absent if there's one of their gang in the directors box every game. Next trick is to make it talk.......

It was Suhail Something else on the first pic the club tweeted don't know if its changed or not.
-
That wouldn't surprise no wonder he was floundering a bit then. Also I see he has yet another name ?
-
At least it brings a bit of clarity to who does what even the man from the shadows has emerged and given himself a job title or three.
-
Boxing wise it's good a great rep but some say it bends the rules a bit but who knows really there's a lot of mudslinging in boxing circles it seems. Lets hope he's the new Naz he didn't need any 'extras' lol

TM has Bowyer MK2 tendencies for sure then he himself complains about not being on the front foot early in games. Not sure how you're supposed to achieve that when you have two deep lying mids inviting the opposition on and play off one up top. Bowyer though besides his Lowe love in didn't really have a lot of options that can't be said for TM,

I had high hopes with Lambert but I suppose it was just refreshing having someone coming in who seemed up for the fight after a few years of seeming happy to plod. I still think he was led down the path by the owners and their button pushers in regards to promised investment but he shafted them back so I kind of respected him for that at the time. However since then he's proved himself another managerial non entity who's action are that of a mercenary and who must have like one or two others very good agent connections to keep getting on and off the money go round ! Goes into a club, gets a load of his pals players on the books, struggles and leaves with a nice mutual consent handshake or pay off then almost immediately pitches up somewhere else despite an underwhelming recent CV. It's a right racket !

Yet again this weekends game isn't one to judge it I doubt there'll be any difference a match like this on a Jan Saturday afternoon before most have been paid again post Christmas against the team at the bottom and one that's never a draw,. Loads of ST holders will probably swerve this as well there'll be about 10k in the ground whilst the crowd is announced at around 12k.
-
I'm surprised big Duncan Ferguson didn't start his own security firm for footballers, he's the man to sort intruders out ?
-
Shows what a tool Saunders really is....and his team, people are paid a lot of money to know about these things.
-
Probably because the wages he got them on here he knew no one else would match it ?
-
Those pesky Lambert signings ..... ?
-
Probably because they'd both want 20k per week over three or four years and the starting point for BB wages would likely be lower whilst someone has brainwashed someone inti thinking it's a quick double your money job that won't bleed the wage bill. Not really thinking of a tilt at promotion any time soon with that signing the football reasons obviously came second on it.
-
Well that might be the secret to his lasting marriage then
-
I also think their manager is more bullish than ours although not sure how that'll reflect this season but it made a difference last.
-
The guy is forging a career playing in front of ten/twenty thousand live football crowds every week i'm sure he'll hear far worse in the flesh. Like I said if he's offended which I doubt he has plenty options. A young David Beckham on the pitch at Ewood with his famous young wife sat in the JW stand listening to thousands sing 'Does she take it ,, .. .... !'. No hiding from that but it didn't do him or her any harm.

Oh for gods sake...... ?
