Injuries can happen in the most inocuous of settings, not just during games. The way you worded your earlier post, made it seem like our only choices were Wharton or Phillips, if Ayala got injured. Personally I would start with Hyam and Wharton as centerbacks with Ayala on the bench.

Playing for the U21s Mola has been used as a center-half, he gets drawn out of position and ends up on the left side of midfield. When he is in that position he is very successful.
