Do you know for certain that a deal was not offered, or if one was offered, was it turned down ? -

Perhaps the club thought, that at the time, Gallagher was a better bet than Brereton. I cannot say as I am not privy to the clubs thoughts. But it all amounts to nothing and we have just got to get on with the outcome of past decisions. -

18 months ago, people where doubting that BB should be in the first team, never mind getting a new contract. Isn't hindsight great. Now, I wish I had gone on holiday to Thailand, instead of getting married. But I just have to live with my decisions. -

The poster I was answering to, was stating that Phillips should be tried in attack. I disagree with that opinion. -

So are you saying that you would start Ash Phillips up front for the Rovers now. You don't need to quote other players. -

He is built nothing like Samba. He is tall and lean. He would be muscled out of a game, against half decent championship defenders. I doubt he is anywhere near as good as Gallagher, as a striker. We have signed potential, not an experiment. -

The main problem being, Hoilett was not a major loss, because Hoilett was not as good has he thought he was. Phillips is. -

Because tickets where not on open sale until this week, I could not commit to going. I bet there are a few in that position. -

To me that would be indicative of the poor sales system the Rovers employ. -
So why did you answer ?

Who would Hedges be challenging for a place in the squad ? Who would Vale be challenging for a place in the squad ? Both are honest questions as I haven't got a clue.

I think it also applied for the original Wigan fixture, and Luton away. I think it will be implemented for every away game not just Burnley.
