  1. Hero to zero, a legend dies.
  2. Just in time for the six nations.
  3. I am also looking forward to a few beers before the game watching the rugby.
  4. The main difference between the U23s and the first team, is physicality, or as a lot of people say, the difference between a boys and a mans game. The skills and abilities are already in the players, and will be evident no matter who the opposition is.
  5. I was. What was more frightening, was a game in the 76/77 season. After the game walking the streets of Bermondsey, trying to find the underground station. Later in life I lived in Essex, and got to know a few Millwall lads. I actually won a raffle at the new den, when we beat them in the cup (0-1 Andy Cole)
  6. Burnden was always the worst for me. Closely followed by The Den.
  7. Injuries will decide JRC future career.
  8. At U23 level it doesn't really matter what league the team is in. It is all about individual progress, and finding which players are capable of playing for the first team. The U18 players would still be competing against U23 opposition.
  9. I think Brereton is having a fantastic season. But I don't think the team has no chance of promotion without him. He has not scored in the last five league games, and we are still second.
  10. I think the clearing of the decks out on loans, at U23 level is to allow the lads at U18 to progress. Perhaps the people running the acadamy think some of the U18s have a better chance of eventually making the first team. I would trust them to make the right decissions. They have done so far.
  11. Get down to Leyland on Friday night, see the young lads, Dacky and maybe even Rothwell.
  12. Have you been down to watch them ? I don't think that anyone is happy to introduce the youngsters too early. Just saying that the option for cover, as a last resort is there.
  13. No, I think what he is saying is that they could cover if and when needed.
  14. Yes, I have to agree with you. What a waste, but never mind.
  15. All of them. They have proved their worth by getting us into the top two. That is fact, not what might happen.
  16. The four I named are used as wide forwards
  17. Fit like, Know many Dons sheep, living in Inverness ?
  18. And four days for the injured to recover before our next game.
  19. Chapman, Khadra, Gallagher, Hedges
  20. It's looking brighter for Saturday.
  21. The only other takers were Burnley.
  22. I'd wait and see how he performs before making a judgement.
