  1. If Mowbray worked to this so called football philosophy, it would be based around a pitch with a good surface.
  2. They employed Mowbray so I get your point
  3. Swansea is a ground I have never been to (recently it always seems to be a midweek game so I couldn't go, through work commitments, that doesn't apply now.) so I am looking forward to going there next season. On tomorrows game, I don't think our pitch will hinder you as much as our manager will hinder us.
  4. The parkas look to be from the 70's
  5. If you follow the conversation, I think you will find it was about the uptake of season tickets at certain prices. I stated the uptake could be effected if covid restrictions where still in place next season.
  6. Have you seen our recent performances. With Mowbray in charge there will be no nettle grasping.
  7. Neither decision is a reason for our poor performance
  8. But this discussion is about the uptake of season tickets next season.
  9. I think the latest quote says all UK people to have been given their first jab by September 2021. Do you think all restrictions will be removed before that target is achieved?
  10. I think your hopes will flounder in indecisive actions. I hope I am wrong.
  11. This is an excellent idea. It has been suggested and totally ignored in the recent past.
  12. If Mowbray has left I would buy a season ticket. At the suggested prices, I would expect a take-up of between 8000 and 10,000.
  13. I think the take up will be pretty low, because Covid restrictions will still be in place during some/all of next season.
  14. I went to a game there 1976/77. As a loan 18 year old, walking the streets of Bermondsey after the game was terrifying. Some may say character building, but I was shitting myself. Ah! Venkys can't take the memories away
  15. I wouldn't mind if training on the pitch actually improved the team. They might as well train at the front of the riverside, with the performances that are produced.
  16. What has any of that got to do with todays performance?
  17. One thing I find strange is that people are fixated by league position. Personally I judge on the football produced. The two usually go hand in hand. The football we are producing is utter dross and has been for most of the season.
  18. I don't know, so I cannot comment.
  19. I would expect the owners to take note of what is said by the person they have paid to run the club. Even if that running has achieved only disharmony.
  20. The most telling part of your statement is, The job Mowbray has DONE. Not the job he is doing or the job he is going to do. If swag does not influence managerial decisions, what does he do for his salary?
  21. It will probably be OK on fish and chips.
  22. The problem is Total Football didn't win much.
