I thought Bell played OK , but only in comparison to how he has played before. His delivery , apart from one, was awful.

he may be bog standard, but at least he is playing.

If we carry on as we have started the players whose contracts are ending are more likely to want to re- sign for us.

Are you saying that Bell could get worse if his confidence is dented?

I just don’t get his thoughts that he hopes bringing players in may improve the first team. You bring players in that will improve the first team.

But to make the best of a bad job, it might be a good move.
