A players value is however much someone is willing to pay for him! He was frustrating to watch sometimes, but I liked the way he always gave 110%. If he does that for Palace I am sure he will score twice as many goals in the championship - he did afterall manage 20 for Ipswich just a couple of seasons ago. In that respect he's probably worth £2.5 mill to your club, even if it is more than we had expected.

I think we should keep playing Neill at left back this season and then replace him with Bridge if we can when he buggers off next summer.

Absolutely Alan. I think Todd has been receiving unfair amounts of criticism on here lately. I still think he's a good prem defender when on form. I'm sure he's more motivated now that he's had this talk with MH and it can only be good for the team. While Ooijer gets accustomed to the prem and Nelsen returns to fitness we should appreciate the fact that we have such quality to fall back on in Zurab and Todd.

We didn't play WELL! We played OK, but we didn't create any chances (ok so there was ONE). A worrying trend that is developing. Am I the only one to see this?
