  1. That is fair enough Jim but if nobody complains then the club will just carry on producing an inferior product which doesn't appear to represent value for money. Maybe one for the Fans Forum to bring up. Do you know if the club make any profit on programme sales?
  2. I don't buy one but has anybody complained to the club? If anyone has I would be interested to see their response.
  3. There are some bargains to be had on the website below. http://www.bikebargains.co.uk/clothing/
  4. That is one strange comment. Using that logic he might as well stay in the u23's for the rest of the season whilst he is scoring. Reading between the lines it's Mowbray telling us not to expect him (or any others) to be in the first team soon.
  5. My point was that he has done well enough in pre season and since to earn a chance.
  6. The last time I saw the first team squad numbers Nuttall didn't have one. I know they can be registered but surely this lad deserves one and as you quite rightly say some first team involvement. Antonsson was played as the lone striker on Wednesday and looked like a lost little boy. Nuttall has some physical presence and scores goals. Strange really.
  7. I don't believe Nyambe would have weakened us at all if he had been playing at right back yesterday. He is far more comfortable in a back four and he does offer more than Caddis going forward although yesterday both full backs were quite restrained.
  8. Would talking more make Nyambe a better player in your view then?
  9. He said next to nothing in the game. What about Sheringham and Cole? They detested each other, never spoke but formed a decent partnership. Any team has a fair mix of characters, quiet, noisy, shy, extrovert etc. McGrath fell into the quiet and shy category.
  10. I honestly don't see what talking on the pitch has to do with any players ability. Probably the best player I ever came across, Paul McGrath hardly ever said a word but it didn't affect his performances. He was essentially shy and that particular characteristic was evident on the pitch. I can accept sensible criticism but not talking is largely an irrelevance.
  11. Thanks for the updates - are you at the game? I can't find anything on the official website.
  12. Surely Nuttall has done enough to at least earn a squad number. I only saw him briefly in pre season but he certainly looked like he has something about him, Big, strong, mobile and as has been proven since an eye for goal. Given the dearth of quick players in that position the answer to that question could well lie within.
  13. I'm sure I read that they have sold 2500 1875 memberships which means (at that time) around 5500 had opted not to join. I wonder is some of these might not buy tickets for the Burnley match because they don't want to join 1875.
  14. Could this be brought up by the Fans Forum at the next meeting? It would be nice to get the rationale behind this and as Cheston generally disregards emails he should be put on the spot.

  16. I don't doubt his passion but when it came to hard hitting and searching questions of managers I thought he was very weak. Too many managers got off lightly in my opinion.
  17. I believe that for recent league meetings between us and them the planning starts months in advance with meetings between both clubs and police. Given the short notice I wonder if the normally rigid travel arrangements might be relaxed as they were for the FA Cup replay over a decade ago. I would love Rovers to restrict the ticket allocation to them to a bare minimum whatever that is. Last time we went there we only got just over half of the Shittyfield End but that was a league game. As somebody said earlier the pound signs will be lighting up in Chestons eyes.
  18. The balls in the microwave certainly worked that day. For the first FA Cup final at the 'new' Wembley why would they want Rovers or Watford there.
  19. Winning is the most important thing in every game. Dig below that though and we did look really susceptible at the back particularly in the first half when Raya made a couple of smart saves. I am far from convinced by three at the back. One of the main differences between Saturday and last night was the width we had going forward. The passing was a lot better than at Southend. Mulgrew hurt himself early on and carried on for much of the game although he went straight down the tunnel when he was substituted for treatment. Coventry were decent but the third goal killed them off and spared us the agony of extra time for what was a road work Laden drive home.
  20. I don't understand Twitter and hacking. Are you saying that Dack actually sent these or somebody else did using his account to make it look like he wrote them.
  21. Exactly right, winning is a great habit. However I think Mowbray will make wholesale changes as he seems to be influenced by what is in vogue like fancy systems, squad rotation and resting players. All nonsense in my opinion. Another defeat tomorrow irrespective of who he plays could really damage us.
  22. If you hadn't finished your bad shift and gone home early due to an injury (which could well have been aggravated by not resting it) then no.
