In all honesty I stopped worrying some time ago about these owners and the way they run our club. It seems every few weeks there is something new to derail the club despite the fact the football side is as good as it's been under these idiots. When they gave Kean a new contract instead of sacking him it was probably the biggest message to fans about how the club would go and now if seems, albeit thirteen years later that things are coming to a head. If we somehow overcame this latest disruption there will be another coming along soon. We might have to take a step of two backwards to go forward if they do pull the plug but I'm ready for that and I think that 8-9000 hardy souls would do the same. Responsible owners - never in a month of Sundays, they have done more damage to this club than anybody could have imagined. Remember the 'absolutely respect the legacy of Jack Walker' pledge. That alone drives my hatred of them more than any other failure they have bestowed upon us. I just wish they would go and crawl back under the rock from which they came. FOV.

Some players hide when they aren't playing well but he doesn't. Szmodics has endeared himself to all Rovers fans who love his attitude. As you allude to he is one of the first names on the team sheet.

I'm going against the grain here because I like going to Millwall. I have had great hospitality behind the scenes when I refereed there and on numerous visits to watch Rovers have usually engaged in conversation with Millwall fans on the train and never felt threatened in any way. It's hostile (I wish Ewood was too) but that is something they use to their advantage to try and get a result by intimidating opposition players. Hopefully another clean sheet for us to crow about and a positive result. I haven't checked but it seems like a long time since we lost in London, perhaps Fulham a couple of years ago.

It is Ian, it's Sodexho I believe. I understand though that Rovers, as well as getting a fee are entitled to a share of any profits as part of the contract. A fully functioning, well oiled operation would bring in much needed revenue but Rovers seem to be cocking a deaf 'un to the legitimate complaints and both Rovers and Sodexho unwilling to try and improve the service levels.

Although he was quiet on Saturday one incident summed up Szmodics to me. The Cardiff keeper rolled the ball out to one of the centre halves in the last few minutes. He had a few touches and was looking for a pass under no pressure and suddenly Szmodics sprang from nowhere, sprinted at him and was desperately unlucky not to win the ball which would have put him clean through. That incident drew one of the loudest cheers of the day and spoke volumes about Szmodics and his attitude.

There are two relatively small windows when the food and beverage outlets are used, about half an hour before kick off and at half time. If Rovers don't do anything to alleviate the queues then there is no point in extending the options on food or drink. The problems have been pointed out numerous times but nothing is ever done. Is there any other business that effectively seems content to displease customers like Rovers do?

I buy my granddaughter chips at every home game before kick off and yesterday went as usual, ordered them and flashed my debit card to pay when I noticed I was only paying £3 rather than the usual £3.75 (strangely they were £4 last season). I brought it to the attention of the girl serving me and she said they were smaller portions in a cone rather than a tray. I think they had run out of trays but it could be something else, who knows with what goes on down there. I did notice that the outlet which normally sells beer wasn't even open, probably the one you are referring to in the JW Upper but I don't think I have seen the concourse as quiet as it was only fifteen minutes before kick off.there It seems like things like this are brought up at every Fans Forum but if anything things appear to be getting worse. Perhaps a unilateral boycott of food and beverages in the ground might kick start some change. But then again nobody in the corridors of power seems to give a toss.

There was a wooohhhh from the crowd which I'm putting down to surprise as we haven't had one of them since MGP was here.

And he has a long throw which appears to have gone under the radar. It could be a useful weapon in some games.

I don't think anybody could argue that we have played much better this season and lost, several times in fact. But I'll take that winning feeling after a stodgy performance over all the accolades we have had from opposition managers. We weren't anywhere near the levels we have been at recently but against an opponent who makes things difficult the win was immensely satisfying. Clean sheets are the key for me and our two in succession have given us a platform to kick on now. I can't really think of an outstanding player on the day although there were moments of real quality from some individuals. In truth the players were nowhere near where we want them to be but tonight I couldn't care less. Similarly I don't care about Cardiffs bleating about their disallowed goal. We have been on the receiving end of a few of them this season so I'll take that. We have two games in quick succession now where we can get more points on the board. Six would be delightful but I'd snatch your hand off for four right now.

I have a strong feeling he doesn't want to understand the fan base. He meets with the Fans Forum bi-monthly (although he has missed some of them) and he has the occasional meeting with individuals. There has been no shareholders meeting for a few years and the Supporters Consultation meetings fell by the wayside. He is asked searching questions in these meetings and is out of both his depth and comfort zone so they don't happen. He gives the occasional interview to local media and boasts about things like paying the bills on time and the much vaunted new coach myth which incidentally Tomasson has publicly embarrassed him about. On match days he swans around the lounges chatting to corporate guests who are mainly day trippers so no hassle there for him. In short he has, in my view he has the cushiest CEO job in football. He works under no pressure to deliver anything tangible or that will benefit Rovers. And his bosses are happy for him to do it. That speaks volumes about how our club is run.

We got an allocation of 3000. I never saw anything official to indicate we turned down a larger allocation although I think we could have been entitled to 10% if segregation allows.

Cardiff have sold around 1000 tickets with a pay on the day facility too. They will wear black armbands to commemorate the 57th anniversary of the Aberfan disaster.

I proposed that he subsidises tickets for our game at Elland Road if he doesn't want to enter a reciprocal agreement with Leeds but he pretty much knocked this back which indicated to me that he won't be coming to any agreement with Leeds and intends to screw them whilst not caring about what we have to pay despite his lip service about away ticket prices. When the prices are announced for our game against them in December I'll revisit this with him.

If I remember correctly it was only on Sunday's when Darwen had the extra half hour but I can't recall whether closing was 10.30 or 11. The pubs close to the boundary (Golden Cup, Rising Sun and Horseshoe) used to get really busy in the last half hour of opening with the proliferation of Blackburners seeking more drinking time.

Millwall is a notoriously tough job primarily down to the veracity of their fans when things aren't going well. Rowett has done well overall but the fans were out of patience with him and this was inevitable. The thing I find strange is the timing as we are almost out of the international break. It could also be ominous for us as we are there next Tuesday.

That is exactly how I saw it too.

It's clear to me that some of the current crop aren't going to make it with us. They simply haven't kicked on and in a couple of instances have gone backwards. I really had high hopes for Jake Batty but it's just not happening for him although his recent long term injury could have affected his confidence. As you intimate at times Adam looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders and his contribution yesterday was negligible. That is a worry for me but I trust Tomasson to do the right thing by Adam and Rovers.

He still looked a little 'heavy' although that may be his natural build. It was difficult to really gauge too much about him as the team performance was so poor. However his second goal was excellent and that finish offers some hope.

Wharton played 45 minutes, Garrett 90 minutes and Ennis 60 minutes. Rovers were well beaten by a bigger and stronger Accrington side who fully deserved their win. In truth Rovers were poor and apart from Ennis scoring twice I can't find any positives. Players continually conceded cheap possession through carelessness and three of Accringtons goals could be attributed to Rovers basic errors. Ennis aside I don't think anybody impressed the watching Tomasson although Adam Wharton going off at half time could be an indication that he will play on Saturday but he was generally lethargic in his play with the occasional glimpse of his ability.

The recent law change has heightened the playing out from the back increase we have seen. Up until three or four seasons ago the ball had to leave the penalty area from goal kicks but the change allowed players of the team with the goal kick to stay inside the area whilst opponents had to stay outside. Prior to this I guess most clubs considered it too risky but now the extra few seconds they have gives them a chance to try and pick a pass.

It's risk versus reward for me and risk wins hands down. I can't remember a goal scored in the EFL which came as a result of 'playing out from the back'. I watched a NWCL game yesterday and both teams were trying i it when players clearly weren't capable of or had anywhere near the skill level. The most stupid, irritating pass in football is the straight ball from the keeper to a team mate who is facing him with an opponent pressing. Think Travis against Nobbers at home last season.

So sorry for your loss roverandout. Hopefully she didn't suffer too much. RIP roverandout's mum.
