I know what you're saying but blimey, that'd be a stretch. Bit like saying "Who could we possibly get who is better than Mowbray?" * ** (Magnified by 1000.) *The next guy in ** And probably the one after that

Does it not seem more and more likely as time goes on that it was Waggott and/or Pasha scuppering these high value incoming deals? I'm still not having it that Silvester conducted hundreds of deals over the years without a hitch then all of a sudden forgot how to do his job. But not with outgoing deals.

I dont know if Ill get into trouble for this but don't you have form on this site for screaming "racism" at the most innocuous of things? The posts you are complaining about were puns with quite clearly no malicious intent intended to any race of people or no intent whatsoever to minimise the seriousness of war. The broader discussion is about signing a Japanese player which everyone is particularly excited about. If anyone was opposed to his signing purely on the basis of his nationality then you might have a point but the exact opposite is the case. I don't know how you manage to get out of bed in the morning, you seem to get so easily offended on other people's behalf.

You beat me to it. Looking at this person's twitter account as a whole he just seems to speculate/state the bleeding' obvious. As for what he's just posted above there he's simply retrospectively posted an opinion with the benefit of hindsight based on what's happened (or hasn't happened thus far. A lot of people will be daft enough to lap it up though I've no doubt.

Don't disagree with anything you say. I'm not expecting anything of value from tonight, I personally think this is such a crucial matter that a separate meeting should be demanded at which the gloves should be off and everything should be gone into forensically in minute detail. I mean if the Club is going under, who cares if the new kits are all really nice or there's a new flavour of pie on offer this season or waiting time for refreshments is likely to be less?

Not that it would ever happen but I'm not sure how it being reported that the FF walked out because they weren't satisfied with the answers they were getting from the Club would reflect well on Waggott or "play into his hands". I'm anticipating that the extent of the "inquisition" tonight will be a comment from Waggott that the Club are hoping the Court will follow the precedent set when they allowed a transfer of funds previously at which point everyone will nod and murmur appreciatively in agreement before moving on to the next agenda item. Hoping to be proved wrong.

Exactly And as I said after one of the previous meetings when from the minutes it appeared as though there was barely a satisfactory answer given, who cares if he threatens to stop them? If all you're getting are lies or "We'll look into it" then at that juncture the meetings have become completely pointless anyway.

Great post. Couldn't agree more. I'm reminded of the words of the guy who played the Editor of the New York Times Ben Bradlee to Woodward and Bernstein in the Closing Scene of "All the President's Men". "Nothing's riding on this. Except the first amendment of the Constitution and the freedom of the Press and maybe the future of the Country. Not that any of that matters, but if you **** up again I'm going to get mad" Substitute the words "The future of Blackburn Rovers Football Club which has been in existence since 1875" and you just about have it. "I'll look into it" never cuts it even on a relatively trivial matter but especially not so on a matter as crucial as this. If satisfactory answers are not forthcoming tonight as I doubt they will be then the Forum need to demand a separate meeting to discuss the subject in detail.

I bet some of the players are wishing they were in the army now.
