In the long term this looks tantamount to rearranging a couple of deckchairs on the Titanic given that Venky's still have their financial issues and Waggott and Broughton appear to have emerged from the latest debacle unscathed. In the short term however a different voice and possibly a more pragmatic approach at times, hopefully he can provoke a reaction out of the players and get us the points we need to avoid the drop this season. Yep, you can clearly see where Broughton's coming from - he's well up for " the project" I.e. sell anything that moves. As for JDT, sad to see him go, I'll remember him not for the recent bad League results but as someone who tried to instill pride, standards and ambition into the Club. Ultimately to no avail sadly. Oh and some fantastic Cup results. Wish him all the best for the future.

I think it's a bit premature to be talking of models being abandoned at this stage but if the model of selling anything of value that moves were to be ditched I'd be all for it.
