Lol - think you tuned into the wrong game by mistake. You're in a minority of one. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

Jim Viley strikes again. We'll be down in record time under this fella. What is he trying to implement on the pitch? We look so lacklustre. Not all his fault obviously but he's the perfect man to seal the deal. The only hope I can see is if someone could persuade the owners to sack the fucking lot of them Pasha, Gestede, Ismael and bring in someone who can instill a bit of spirit into the team and bring in a few players with Championship know how.. Edit: Just looked it up and Iley was sacked after eight games of the 78/79 season after one win two draws and five defeats. Fairly striking similarities. -

Nothing whatsoever to do with luck, we're a shite team with a worse manager. Thought Alebiosu was excellent and Cantwell played reasonably well. Hickman was ok first half. The rest of them might as well not have bothered. Everyone raves about Tronstad yet every time we're live on TV he's dreadful. Predictably we're missing Travis badly. Gudjohnsen Miller and Kargbo looked Sunday League standard. Can't see any way out of this there's next to zero quality in the squad and the head coach is even worse. -

The state of Ismael and the three on the bench . They look completely shell shocked - they know the game's up. Edit: Decent shout for a penalty, that'll obviously be all Ismael talks about. Cantwell lucky not to get a second yellow there. He's lost the plot. -

Fucking Gudjohnsen and Kargbo miscontrolled the ball three times between them to give Swansea possession leading up to the goal. Rank amateur stuff. -

Just put the red button coverage on. To say the crowd looks sparse would be something of an understatement. -

Kargbo's rapidly turning into a waste of a signing. Anyone else get the impression VI doesn't rate him, same as Gueye? -

Not really because JDT and JE had to operate under very different financial conditions than Mowbray had. Good old Tone might have struggled to keep us on an even keel under the same restrictions. -

Not really because both JDT and JE performed better than Mowbray under reduced circumstances in a shorter space of time. -

I thought it was entirely the wrong decision, and Im surprised we havent appealed but you're right, from a purely footballing perspective there's no point whatsoever harking back to it or bemoaning our luck -we just have to get on with it. You're also correct that the over-riding problem is the insufficient drainage and the negligent upkeep of the infrastructure at Ewood in general. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
RevidgeBlue replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
If they normally train later for an evening kick off it's not a problem. If they dont I think it's out of order. His birthday was on Sunday. Can't see what was stopping him getting back in time for training on Monday as usual - if all else failed he earns more than enough to have hired a private jet. Of course if we win tonight it'll be completely forgotten about, if not it's another stick to beat him with. -

I wouldnt have wasted my time explaining the above, Chaddy's always first on the ball with any Rovers related news but if something occurs which seems to paint the Club in a bad light beyond reasonable doubt he pleads ignorance and claims to be unaware as to what has gone on. -

So from the above comment I take it you think the Club aren't at fault? -

Well only to the extent that a CEO is held responsible for anything that goes on at any Company. The owners must have agreed to those deals in the first place then they all fell through due to either different instances of negligence (if you believe that) or deliberate sabotage. -

Maybe not quite to the same extent but that has echoes of Rooney at Plymouth allegedly skipping training sessions so he could fulfill media engagements with Colleen. -

Andy Cole says Hi. As do Nathan Brierley, Lewis O Brien, Duncan Mcguire, Uncle Tom Cobley and all.
