Not really because JDT and JE had to operate under very different financial conditions than Mowbray had. Good old Tone might have struggled to keep us on an even keel under the same restrictions.

Not really because both JDT and JE performed better than Mowbray under reduced circumstances in a shorter space of time.

Well only to the extent that a CEO is held responsible for anything that goes on at any Company. The owners must have agreed to those deals in the first place then they all fell through due to either different instances of negligence (if you believe that) or deliberate sabotage.
