  1. If you have to SEND confirmation of his appointment to the EFL as well, we're goosed.
  2. It seems you're right in saying JDT has gone, as for the rest, who knows? You don't expect Rovers PR Dept. to actually do anything do you?
  3. That has to be a major worry that all the various supporters groups should be all over, demanding answers from Waggott and the Board once the managerial search (which no doubt we'll manage to turn into another fiasco) is over.
  4. Figure of speech obviously jim. Which will have some merit if he emerges from all this unscathed. I note no-one objects to all and sundry labelling Waggott as a spiv, 2nd hand car dealer (even though he obviously isn't a 2nd hand car dealer) etc etc!!
  5. "Most of his best work goes unseen" They used to say that about Corry Evans. I'm far from convinced in the ability of this lot to get Eustace or anyone for that matter over the line within a reasonable time scale. I think it's a bit premature to be talking of models being abandoned at this stage but if the model of selling anything of value that moves were to be ditched I'd be all for it.
  6. In the absence of any news to the contrary presume slimy twat Broughton will be keeping his head down and will emerge unscathed when someone is appointed by which time another abysmal transfer window and the Mcguire fiasco will be conveniently forgotten?
  7. Christ on a bike. Perhaps we'd better hope we don't win or he might get the permanent gig.
  8. So......we have no manager/coach going into tomorrow's game. Fairly standard.
  9. Whilst it is impossible to say with 100% certainty that this is deliberate rather than incompetent do you see nothing odd in the fact that outgoing deals seem to be unaffected and that of the incoming ones, it's the expensive ones that go belly up? And.....after all that, no-one gets sacked for it - seemingly.
  10. You think? I reckon that would be crediting our board with a degree of competence. Hope you're right. Otherwise we can run a "Win the chance to be the manager for the day" competition at 14.45 tomorrow. At least you don't need the up to date kit to do that so everyone attending should be eligible.
  11. *Chaddy discards JDT like a soiled diaper and ploughs determinedly on as if nothing was amiss and everything is normal*
  12. Who takes the side in the absence of any agreement? Damien Johnson or will they wheel out a reluctant JDT? We keep hitting new low after new low recently but surely even they couldn't do that. Could they?
  13. When you say "They" though are we on about Waggott/Pasha or the owners. I keep making this point but I cannot really see the owners pulling the loan deal just 24 hours after specifically authorising it at the point when permanenent deals were cancelled. Not that it matters so much as at the end of the day, the net effect on the team and the despairing head coach is the same. The Owners need to sell up ASAP and the Club needs gutting from top to bottom.
  14. Wasn't that effectively the gist of the Club statement released recently?
  15. Or JDT says what he needs and GB finds someone he doesn't want. On the odd occasion he finds someone J DT wants, SW then messes up the deal.
  16. Agree completely, just commenting on that particular point.
  17. We were linked with Farke and Carvalhal initially after Mowbray left and they never joined. It's all very well being linked with people, but you'd imagine they'd run a mile if either they or their agent carried out a spot of due diligence. Plus we've yet to agree terms with JDT.
  18. Another poster covered this point by saying that Fleck was by that time a free agent therefore his registration could have been successfully done at any point over the following month. Therefore it wouldnt necessarily have meant they would automatically have noticed the Mcguire omission in time.
  19. Still no confirmation on JDT? If I had to put a pound on it I'd wager that the Club and JDT are a million miles away from agreeing on his departure. JDT probably won't be feeling anywhere near as generous following the Mcguire debacle as he was in summer and is likely to be pushing for almost his full entitlement. Whereas Waggott will probably be trying on the same sort of sob story tactics he reportedly employed when trying to diddle Adam Wharton out of his loyalty bonus I.e. the Club can't afford to pay you off. This could run and run.
  20. I can't see it if only for the fact that like JDT he'll be financially independent so he's unlikely to be the yes man they''ll be ooking for.
  21. I'm a bit loath to discuss new managers whilst JDT is still technically in situ but I'm not overly excited by the prospect of Eustace. Quite a few Birmingham fans on Talksport seemed to think they'd peaked and were well on the decline long before Rooney came in. The general consensus as well was that the style of play was very boring. All that said, I bet we're a very long way off appointing ANY of the names we're currently linked with. Do you think any of them are fully aware of the financial situation? Or are they just looking at the table and thinking, "Blackburn have dropped off a bit, I bet I can turn that round!"
  22. I'd be making sure I got cash up front for the hotel bill before I agreed to stay for any length of time!
  23. Wouldn't be at all surprised if an unwilling JDT is still in the dug out Saturday. What a surreal experience that would be for supporters and players alike.
