Been a lot more of this sort of disparaging talk (not just from you) recently "If you're writing him off too early it's not the sport for you" If you dont rate such and such a player you know nothing about the sport" " If you can't see that we clearly played 4-1 -2-1-1-1 etc during pre season maybe it's not the sport for you" It's nothing really to do with anyone else whether someone rates a particular player or not, although you're obviously free to disagree. Mowbray seemingly didn't rate Raya that highly. Does that mean he's been in the wrong career all his life? Therefore any chance of dialling the hyperbole down a bit?

So in VI 's 14 competitive matches so far......... We've conceded the opening goal inside the first 20 mins 8 times. Of those eight, 4 of them were actually inside the first 10 mins. Out of those four where we conceded inside the first 10 mins, we actually conceded a second goal inside the opening 10 mins on 3 out of the 4 occasions!!! Surely these figures are completely unacceptable no matter how good or bad we think the players are or whatever level you happen to be playing at. They smack of a lack of organisation, lack of concentration from the first whistle and an unwillingness to put it all on the line for this manager.

I'd say our best performers last season in no particular order were Travis, Brittain, Dolan and Batth. Guess what! 3 of them are no longer here and one appears to be on his way out. There's a reason for that other Clubs aren't daft and have noticed the way they played last year and are willing to pay for them and our management simply don't care as they are only interested in cutting costs.

100%. Whilst JDT was constantly calling out the powers that be, you felt there was some hope despite the ownership. Eustace was slightly more professional as it were in the sense that he didn't make his dissatisfaction so public. But you could tell he wasn't happy, Towards the end you could hear the optimism draining out of him with every interview. This guy gives the impression all is well and he's 100 % on board. That may change of course but I doubt it.

You've not seen the games this season then? Just on Gueye and Travis, if VI doesn't rate Travis and thinks Woodrow is a better option than Gueye that says a lot more about the manager than it says about those two players.

If we are eventually reduced to seeing what's left on the loan market at the last minute (as usual) I think we'll be sadly disappointed. What did he do tonight? After he gave the ball away on the edge of our area he perked up a little and played one or two nice balls but nothing earth shattering. The receiving player still always has it all to do. Does he score any goals? - No Does he provide any assists? - No Does he provide any defence splitting balls which leave the receiving player with a clear cut chance? - No. And this was against League 1 opposition.

I disagree completely on that point sg - regardless of quality you would expect a decent coach to be able to set the team up to be motivated and difficult to beat as a bare minimum. How often do we concede goals in the first 20 mins under VI? It must be more often than not, and quite often it's the first ten minutes and out of those, sometimes more than one!

Complete guess: Id wager he's on about £7-8k p.w. now and Derby have offered to double that. I remember years ago when Trav was a kid a mate of mine who knew him a bit saying he was threatening to leave because a) He was on £2k p.w. which he thought was a shit wage and b) He was behind Evans and Smallwood in the pecking order and he thought he was a lot better than both of them. He wasn't wrong on either count.

When did Travis last sign a deal at Rovers? I seriously doubt he's on anything like £15k -£20 k p.w. currently. If Derby are prepared to "double his money" it probably shows what a poor wage (relatively speaking) he's currently on.
