  1. You'd have taken four points from Cardiff and West Brom all day long. Makes the failures to show up against Wigan, Barnsley and Leeds all the more inexcusable.
  2. To be fair Lenihan was the one being out of order there.
  3. And again........ Haven't a clue what Holtby was doing there. Should have shot first time then feeble effort from point blank range with the back heel.
  4. That should have been it for the smash and grab job. Has to score there. Delayed the shot a fraction too long.
  5. Both were red cards imo. How we're still in this god only knows. West Brom should have scored six. Might just be our day.
  6. Lol...... Always knew they'd work! ? The man's a tactical genius. ?
  7. Taking the piss with those subs. Bennett for Nyambe and Holtby for Armstrong.
  8. Sounding to me like it won't be worth the aggro and hassle of returning. I really don't understand what is happening in general, as the virus becomes less and less prevalent, restrictions are becoming more and more draconian. Leicester gets locked down again because a near negligible 1.4 people out of every thousand have the virus, and today we're getting the ridiculous suggestion that face masks might be made compulsory in shops where limited numbers and social distancing are already in force. I won't be bothering attending football on principle if it's made compulsory to wear a mask and I certainly don't fancy turning up three hours before either. Limited numbers with no other restrictions I could just about accept.
  9. Didn't see tonight's game but when I watch him normally I get the impression he's playing very much to instruction, and not to get too far advanced up the pitch. If he isn't, I agree it's something he can improve on.
  10. I agree completely Chadster. Imo we can't afford to lose ANY of Nyambe, Lenihan, Travis, Dack or Armstrong. Yet you yourself have conceded one or more will probably be sold to plug financial holes this summer, so who knows what will happen?
  11. Very good post. Arguably the inconsistency merely serves to underline why we need a new manager. They CAN do it when they want but the need a manager who demands higher standards and can drag those standards out of them on a more consistent basis.
  12. ........for another Club. Must have put a zero on his value with the stunning strikes in the last two games.
  13. Give over, Graham isn't a patch on Armstrong. He's still had it, he merely looks better because he's being compared to garbage like Gallagher, Samuel and, to date, Brereton.
  14. Never mind Blackpool is nice this time of year.
  15. Typical Rovers under Mowbray. Play yourselves out of contention then just pull out a result when it's too late to make the overall picture look half way respectable.
  16. Not watching this - pointless. Surprised we equalised.
  17. Cheer up Merce if Mowbray is here until the end of the season and you keep doubling up you might have enough for a nice little Carribean holiday!
  18. That's a bit of good news on the Graham front if true, somewhat unfortunate on Downing when you consider Conway got contract after contract when he was well past his sell by date.
  19. Bloody hell chaddy if tickets went on sale tomorrow I'd buy one to help the Club out.As roversfan99 says It doesn't matter if most wouldn't, if we only managed to sell 1k now it's 350k we wouldn't otherwise have had at a time when our income is zero. And........if sales plummet it's going to be primarily down to Mowbray and the rubbish we're watching on the pitch as opposed to people's personal circumstances as you suddenly seem to be pretending.
  20. Don't disagree with your point as a whole but I don't think we're the best example of why the above viewpoint is wrong as Mowbray tends to back it up.
  21. Without wishing to defend their record over the entire period of ownership I think that's rather harsh on the owners. Since we were relegated to League 1 Mowbray has had excellent budgets to work with and since promotion back to the Championship he has largely wasted it, as much on wages by handing out unnecessary contracts as the £12m in transfer fees wasted on SG and BB. To the point where we don't even own a keeper going forward. Arguably the most important position in the team. If there is financial turmoil in India it's maybe understandable that budgets for next season haven't been forthcoming yet. In an ideal world you'd hope the delay and apparent silence was because the owners are dissatisfied with what they've seen on and off the pitch over the last two seasons and are considering major changes. I doubt it, you can but dream though.
