  1. Equally unlikely though. Sorry, didnt wish to sound rude.
  2. Im sure you know all this already but anyway Players know they'll be replaced. Waggott and Caley have to cope with full stadiums etc. Waggott/Pasha's positions would come under scrutiny if we performed poorly and got relegated again. In general would be well out of their comfort zones just chugging along in mid table in the Championship. Same applied to Mowbray when he was here.
  3. No offence but that's hardly the boldest prediction in the world. I can state with a fair degree of confidence it wont be Carlo Ancelotti either.
  4. Clash ot the Titans. Tony Mowbray v David Lowe. Like two bald men fighting over a comb.
  5. "Make it look convincing if you like David but whatever you do we must not finish in the top 6".
  6. So one out of six of our January signings starting. Says it all.
  7. To be expected I suppose, but wow.....just wow.
  8. That's actually a slight drift out from 1/2. Id be majorly surprised if that happened.
  9. Glad to hear it. Tbf out of all the things you could criticise them for, postponing the meeting in the light of what's happened isnt really near the top of the list but I hope everyone gives them both barrels when the meeting does eventually take place and I look forward to reading the minutes.
  10. Something along those lines. Ive heard the suggestion that he's been "sacked" at least once in the past but went running crying to Balaji and it was reversed.
  11. Probably worth a fiver the way our lot operate.
  12. Was it you that told us to look out for a Boro/Coventry/Birmingham connection etc? I thought of that us soon as Karanka's name was mentioned.
  13. Given Stig of the dump appears to be leading us into the fray, do we need to be hoping negotiations between Eustace and Derby break down irretrievably?
  14. Ha ha. He's welcome for a decent fee. No-one else seems to want him. Travis however, that'd be a whole different ball game.
  15. Thanks, Paul Hawksbee and Andy Jacobs/Hawksbee and Charlie Baker.
  16. The only thing that gives me a bit of hope is that if there's one team Id like to play when in a state of absolute chaos, it's a team managed by Mowbray. He'll probably go against the habits he instilled when he was here though and give us a right good thumping to rub salt in the wound even further.
  17. Probably. Inexcusable that it hasnt been announced though. Makes it look like we havent got a clue what's going on and that it's utter chaos behind the scenes. I know that's probably the reality but still............
  18. It would raise our profile massively. On the downside it wouldn't take long before any thoughts of him being a decent manager were gone for good. Thankfully wont happen because we'd only be prepared to pay one twentieth of the salary he'd no doubt be expecting anywhere.
  19. Thanks for that, that's an image I'll never be able to shake off but Lol anyway.
  20. I doubt there's much money floating about the "Next Blackburn Manager" market. One decent size bet will probably skew the odds massively. Unless anyone saw Lee Carsley going into Bet Fred at Mill Hill earlier on today? He could have carried on to the Wilpshire Hotel for lunch. (One for the old timers there)
  21. Which show was that on and can you catch it on podcast?
  22. Nothing's impossible but Id say there's as much chance of Carsley coming as there is of it snowing in the Canary Isles in August. He's on the cushiest of number's with the U21's, a virtual job for life if he wants it and he seemed particularly uncomfortable with the media attention when briefly promoted to England Coach. In the unlikely event it did happen though Id be fairly impressed. Very good reputation as a Coach, would presumably give the youngsters plenty of air time and would probably play a fairly attractive brand of football. In an ideal world he'd probably be a good choice after Warnock/Allardyce short term if we dont then go up.
