  1. You could always put him on ignore? 🙂
  2. When the entire team has imploded in the 2nd half of the season maybe it's not quite that much of a badge of honour. Hyam won it a couple of years ago and I dont rate him either. Edit: Genuine question - why do you think Tronstad never seems to attract much outside interest? It doesn't surprise me but it must be a major surprise to everyone else who seem to rate him so highly?
  3. Maybe, but if true we're unnecessarily paying another agent for no good reason whatsoever. Lining agent's pockets twice on the same deal.
  4. Think that was the only time him and Dack played together. It was no coincidence imo we won.
  5. Leicester 2 Wednesday 1 At least we haven't got to make up 3 points on Wednesday already.
  6. Without wishing to set everyone off on a rant about how I should never be allowed to darken the doors of a football stadium again because I dont rate Tronstad, I didn't see much different from him yesterday to how I perceive him in general. I just see him as a bit of a nothing player.
  7. Sheff Wed down to ten men on 76. Barry Bannan (unluckily imo) given a second yellow for winning the ball first but catching his man with the follow through. Probably the right decision to the letter of the law now.
  8. Not saying that what you're saying is wrong but why would we need an agent to represent us on the sale of a player.
  9. I find yours and Kent's knowledge on this breathtaking. A lot of it's going straight over my head. Do we think anyone at the Club would have the faintest idea of what you're on about?
  10. Leicester v Sheff Wed game 1-1.
  11. Quote from him from the last FF in the "real" minutes I think. Anyone only has to watch him for a game or two to see that he's a more or less unique talent in that he knows who is going to pass to well before he receives the ball and pulls it off effortlessly. He doesn't need to slow play down by bringing the ball under control first or take a second or two to weigh up his options. Never seen a player quite like him in that respect. Nearest was Tugay. And sideways backwards never take a risk plodder Tyler Morton goes for £15m. If he'd come through Rovers Academy and not Liverpool's, no-one would even look at him twice
  12. Wednesday 1 up at Leicester and deservedly so.
  13. For me Sheff U made a very strange choice of manager - at least Wilder has bags of experience won promotion previously and has been there done that and got the T shirt. In most seasons they'd have gone up automatically with their points tally. Not sure if the new man has ever achieved anything. Reading a BBC article it seems part of the reason for Wilder's departure was his refusal to go all in on the current obsession with data led recruitment and new AI technology for same whereas the new guy made a point of making a point of how it needed to be embraced. Worked well yesterday didn't it!
  14. Probably wouldn't happen but it would be nice if we could have a game on Sky where our fans didn't come in until the 15th minute to symbolise Venky's 15 years of ownership.
  15. There'll be no-one there but the game has now become quite important in the context of the season. We need to show some fluidity, put in a decent performance and win to build a bit of momentum. A few goals wouldn't hurt either.
  16. There was another Rovers fan called Carl who phoned in Talksport last night on his way home from the Hawthorns who was also seemingly quite content with what he saw. I couldn't quite believe what I was hearing imo if we were to play like that all season we'd be guaranteed to go down, probably with a record low goals tally for a 46 game season. Im sure we'll improve a bit, we couldn't possibly be that bad every game. The question is, will we improve enough. It sounded as though another Rovers fan phoned in with the opposite view to Carl later on but I only caught the very end of that one.
  17. Agreed. And worryingly the 3 stooges seemed to double down on him being "the outstanding candidate" during the car crash interviews so would they even want to ditch him if needed?
  18. Don't disagree with your overall point but if missing out on the play offs when the Club were in the top 6 when you took over is judged a success - Im in the wrong job!
  19. If that's his intention he's going to have to pull his socks up big time!
  20. Ah OK. Odds are they're still heavily involved then. We had that ridiculous conflict of interest situation didn't we a few years ago when it was in the best interests of the Club to offload Smallwood and whether Mowbray did or didn't want to get rid, the fact they were both represented by HSH was far from ideal.
  21. Tbf I was under the impression they'd lost a few for big fees. They're another Club with an American owner and the Bournmouth fans would appear to be delighted with everything he's done at the Club since he's been there.
  22. Im not judging it based solely on one game, Im basing it on his 13 games since he's been here. I saw yesterday as a continuation of what happened last season. I might be proved completely wrong. Who knows. Let's hope so. The Forum would be a boring place if you didn't or couldn't pass an opinion until after something had actually happened.
  23. Squad overloaded with midfielders and bereft of attacking options both in terms of numbers and quality.
