  1. No just someone in the hotel. not sure I’d have gone with the ecb text though. Show of shite doing their best to destroy cricket.
  2. In danger of bringing run rate into play here. 42/5 off the last 9 overs.
  3. Panicshire strike again. Don’t need to take chances or play risky shots. Just along the ground at 5 an over. Some of these shots have been truly abysmal.
  4. Yeah it’s the same at Old Trafford want you to wear masks roaming the outside but don’t have to sat in your seat with people getting past each other on the row nose to nose. More farcically at ot they keep the couple of seats free next to the aisle to avoid contact with people on the stairs but still potentially sat right next to someone. 🤷‍♂️
  5. Good grief. Remind me which club is the non league club. Us or Fylde. We’ll be loaning the team bus off afc Darwen if the Punatics are here for another decade.
  6. A very decent win considering some of those would just about make a 3rd xi with everybody available. Saqib will be playing a bigger role in the ODIs scene now I’d wager
  7. No Mowbray out chants yet. Slightly disappointing. I still think the next death spiral will be his last. It never really got going but I did like someone’s effort of “tell me lies, tell me lies, tell me Steve waggott lies.” To Fleetwood Mac song.
  8. Lots of pointless possession again. So far so good then.
  9. Career best figures 7/42. Set to topple that at the young age of 38
  10. He was very honourable until it came into direct competition with self-preservation. Wasn’t such a man of honour when his wage looked like drying up. During that last 15 ish game death spiral, Mowbray with his demeanour on the touch line and his press conferences, really gave the impression of a man who’d given up and holding out for the payoff. My biggest fear now is in a matrix style revelation he now realises he is bulletproof and his ego will be out of control this season.
  11. No shame + bank balance + no pressure + no standards = Moggasurus
  12. What are the rules with regards to away fans?
  13. I know I’m getting a nasty feeling Mowbray will be returning I know that much.
  14. Spanish - Salgado prob the only noteworthy name, rochina, de Pedro, Yordi, apparently Ayala currently plays for rovers but never seen him, David raya, Jordi gomez.
  15. Bruno played a couple of times. Best of a very poor bunch was probably Santa Cruz. Unless going back Ossie Ardiles but I can’t personally remember him playing to comment.
  16. Mowbray has a fragile ego you can see this through his reaction to even the most tame questions during a trademark death spiral. I think he’s also in a deluded bubble without fans in the ground. When rovers go another death spiral he’ll get it both barrels. At which point I just can’t see him brazening it out like say Kean did. I’m going to try and sit within ear shot of him at least he’ll know what I think of him. Even if it makes no impact on him it’ll make me feel better. Ps. In a way I hope Rovers are so clueless to the ill will that’s been steadily building they’ll bring that stupid flag out. It might just get a few backs up against moggasurus
  17. Shame they didn’t arrive before the fans kicked off about the state of the ground. They could have seen a pile of rubbish and weeds growing out of the ground. Id wager they still haven’t cleaned the cladding.
  18. Someone sent me this saying Mowbray was on Chilean tv talking about Brereton and explaining tactics, yes tactics. I’m 99.999999% convinced it’s a gag but he said it’s not. Either way if it actually happened enjoy the sheer ludicrousness of that if it’s a gag I still found it funny the thought of moggasurus explaining tactics to anyone.
  19. I felt the same way when I drove past few months ago. Something has been lost over the past decade that I doubt I’ll ever regain. Started by the Venkys, accelerated by Kean, finished off by Mowbray/Swag.
  20. Linked with Leeds and now real Sociedad. It gets stranger and stranger. I find this whole thing totally surreal and frankly hilarious. Everything from how he was selected (champ man), why he was selected, to the fact he’s become a national cult figure in Chile for scoring 1 goal and setting 1 up. Apparently he now has quadruple the social media followers than Rovers have. It’s bizarre. I just don’t get it at all. 7 games out of 10 he’s total dog shit. The other 3 games he’s ok but no more than you’d expect from a professional footballer. Still he’s gone from someone who would be happy just to see his contract run down a la grabbi to a sellable asset. Strange times.
  21. True. But I do think it’s a noteworthy comparison that a smaller club which is very comparable in terms of owner issues, lancashire based, similarly economically depressed area is outperforming rovers. I’d find it totally irrelevant to say Man Utd have sold 50,000 season tickets for example but a club like Blackpool already doubling what we’re likely to sell highlights our seemingly terminal decline.
