  1. After the novelty of going again has worn off I reckon 7,000. Bit like the pubs festive/bank holiday drinkers are out in force but they’ll drop off once the novelty of their twice annual pint wears off.
  2. Could just do with another couple of Huddersfield goals. Get the win but takes the gloss off it.
  3. I can’t bring myself to even read them. A 5 months hibernation will end.
  4. God. He’ll be insufferable now. Like the past season hasn’t happened.
  5. I can’t enjoy any result that strengthens Mowbray’s position nor can I enjoy any defeat. If today means we’re mathematically safe then fine but for the remainder of the season I want humiliating defeats.
  6. Bell and Douglas are two of the worst players I’ve ever seen who play regularly in a rovers shirt. The fact they are competing for the same place is ridiculous
  7. I have no contacts from within but I’ll tell you all what we all know to be true. Mowbray has no shame. Mowbray’s employers have no standards. Mowbray stays. Simple as that.
  8. Incredible from lancs. Didn’t think 500+ was on the cards at 248/7. In fact overnight at 260/7 I’d have taken 300. Record 8th wicket partnership for lancs and lambs 125 was the highest score from a Lancs number 9
  9. Just looking at the u18s table. Remarkable run of results 7 wins from 7 in the league. Not so long ago they were cut adrift at the rock bottom of the league
  10. https://mobile.twitter.com/lancscricket/status/1383130753396051968 Perhaps it would have been a better bet not having him carry the water all over the sub continent than having Bess serving up pies. They were talking about it on sky this morning. I’m 99% sure he’s bowled that exact same delivery before as remember the same comparison. Perhaps (almost certainly) that wasn’t televised being the difference and doesn’t play for Surrey. Also re which one is better I’ll defend Parky’s as the better to any Australian or non Lancastrian but only one winner really. Both same delivery and both at ot. But one is a wicket to dismiss gatting England’s number 3 test average of 40 ish and premier player of spin Parky got rid of Adam Rossington
  11. Having banged on about being a performance manager, more important to develop players if he says tonight it’s only the result that matters he’s actually taking the piss out of people.
  12. Mixed feelings about this one. That’s before the gurning one will subject us to his verbal diarrhoea. Sure relegation is off the table but at what cost another season of him. Doesn’t bare thinking about
  13. That defending was straight off the rovers training ground.
  14. This team is the epitome of Mowbray. That said I reckon with these exact same players properly motivated and properly managed could be top 6 (not relegation battle).
  15. So Mowbray can’t triumphantly declare he’s the man for next season. Ideally will stay up whilst still being a sufficient failure to see the back of Mowbray. Perhaps won’t have any impact on his future. Although 5 wins and he will probably get a new deal.
  16. A draw is the best result for me. Keeps derby at bay and Mowbray one game further to the club record worst run. Not that he cares.
  17. Mowbray is a bit of a thicko and he’s also arrogant. A deadly combination. He’s also deluded with our style of play. It’s every bit as awful as anything we played under big Sam just a different type of bad and certainly without the results to justify it.
  18. I actually hate this guy. As far as I’m concerned comparisons with Kean are fair game. Used to loath such comparisons as diminished how truly bad Kean was but if Kean had come out with the crap this guy comes out with it would live in infamy.
  19. Those “expected goals” stats are as relevant as something ridiculous like points gained when there’s more white boots than black boots.
