  1. In light of that refs conversation with farrell that first try is as appalling as the 2nd. No wonder farrell looked like he wanted to chin him.
  2. That first try reminded me of when Beckham scored a drop goal for untied at Ewood. 🙄
  3. It’s incredible. If had dropped on that then wouldn’t bet against a third iffy try
  4. Some dubious decisions in favour of the Welsh here. Jesus wept.
  5. He’ll leave us exactly where he found us given enough time I’ve no doubt about that.
  6. He probably knows it is. But he’s on an earner. He couldn’t give a toss how we get on
  7. I was about to say can’t have been Kean. People on here saw him for what very quickly. Sadly the general fanbase were far too slow to catch on. Even with Kean. Makes you think no chance of some of them getting up to speed with Mowbray
  8. This is just the same as usual. Nothing will change. Even if we blag a win Mowbray is now the thing he claims he doesn’t want to be. A huge bloody burden
  9. More self indulgent gibberish. He reeled off his usual buzzwords. Integrity ✅, honest ✅, hardworking ✅ but he’s slipping he forgot to mention he’s just a working class bloke from Teesside. Don’t be critical of me I’m not bothered it only affects the players. Nice try you smoggy bell end. Full on self preservation mode.
  10. I was of the same opinion in 2019 before the Stoke game saying surely if we lose today making it 9 defeats from 11 he’ll be sacked. 2 years later we’re saying the same things. The only constant is he carries on with impunity.
  11. Yeah that was all very forced. Reminded me of interviews when ask the question “so what do you know about the company?” Then get a pre rehearsed list of random facts found on google a few minutes earlier.
  12. The Tony “I won’t be a burden” Mowbray bingo card: - Talk the opposition up to be like Barcelona pre match ✅ - At least one head scratching selection - Play players out of position - Not score in the first half - Concede in the first half - Concede from a set piece - Mowbray having a snooze mid way through 2nd half - Bring on attacking players at random after the hour mark whatever the scoreline may be - Having lost. Totally contradict the pre match statement on the opposition by claiming superiority and some sort of moral victory (shots, possession, playing football “ the right way”) -Blame injuries/covid/pitch/officials/players/weather -Mention the journey. As a side bet he’ll make at least one asinine comment. My prediction extol the virtues of having an experienced defence in the championship. Then in the following sentence wax lyrical about how the back 4 had an average age of 21. Unfortunately, fans picking nyambe got him injured long term only to play him 4 days later is taken. Also off the table is despite mentioning play offs weekly over the past 2 years claiming seeing Shearer and Sutton 25 years ago means fan expectations are unrealistic.
  13. Not sure but think you misunderstand. There is always work that can be done but our current training facility even untouched as it is and 30 years old is still better than modern premier league facilities, such as Burnley’s, which is brand new pumped full of premier league money but still falls short of the level we set 3 decades ago by the category status awarded in the present day. Also I’d be curious to know how much money they’ll make from this housing development. Ultimately, I reckon it’ll cost risking the category one status for effectively the cost of another Sam Gallagher.
  14. By how can it be, do you mean how can it be the highest category? If so 30 years old or 1 year old we are one of only 24 clubs to have a category one academy. Surely would be better modernising what we have than chuck out the baby with the bath water. Ultimately when there’s so many more areas of the club that need money chucking at it why bother with the one area we have that’s equal to any club in the country in terms of its status. Unless, some nefarious ceo and co stand to earn out of it.
  15. Don’t buy this 30 years old antiquated training ground bullshit. It’s currently the highest category it can be. They’re making it sound like a dusty relic from the 1920s. But why? Ask the question who stands to earn out of this particularly as waggott is claiming any money generated will go into redeveloping the training ground. So nothing suggested will reduce debt or improved the playing side of things. When the stadium is crumbling, £200 million in debt, no defenders, why would you waste money on “improving” something to the same standard it already is. It’s illogical unless someone pushing it stands to earn out of it.
  16. Change would be just the tonic for me. Change the manager, change the ceo, change the owners. Bring on the change!!!
  17. Could it not simply be waggott is a chancer who initially blagged his way into a £300,000 a year job through his mate wagga. Then since being at a rudderless football club on decent money, with no leadership from the top, he’s spotted an opportunity to further feather his nest by converting a category one football training ground/academy into a category one training ground/academy.
  18. 100/1 for relegation. Hulls results mirror ours in their relegation season. Merce?
  19. It’s clear Mowbray isn’t going anywhere. I must admit I’m mildly curious to see how many consecutive defeats it takes to get the Venkys to pull the trigger. The problem is if we lose 10 in a row they won’t know until a few months time when check the results and think bloody hell need to sack him. Fat Sam was potted on the back of a 7-1 defeat. So going for rovers 1 Coventry 7.
