  1. I’ll be very interested to see what numbers are like when fans are allowed back in. I’d wager very low. Perhaps a one off spike for first home game then 7k I reckon. They will then blame covid. Anything or anyone but themselves.
  2. Better side but the fact remains 1 win in 9 and 14th in a season Mowbray was targeting the playoffs. Although I appreciate the gold posts are being moved and by now the narrative is he’s done well to keep us up.
  3. Decent effort. As with Jacknory my initial answer to that question was no. For what it’s worth I think we look a better side when we’re not faffing around with it at the back. I’ll also add the caveat there is a bloody low bar to being better. Moggasaurus seems to be fixated on the idea teams with high possession get out of this division. But what he’s probably too stupid to realise is their possession tends to come in the opposition’s half. Our possession comes from the keeper and centre halves. Pointless possession.
  4. Strange ones. The usual profile is someone who will blindly back anything the club does or says. On Monday they will be vehemently defending the incumbent, if on Tuesday said person is sacked by Wednesday it was the right decision. But when fans who also have the capacity to criticise are bunkering in it really points to some bizarre phenomenon of the individual being bigger than the club. Not even blindly backing a king kenny type legend of the game, tony bloody Mowbray. Weird
  5. I didn’t think this death spiral would be as early or as severe but I was looking at these fixtures - reading, millwall, Swansea, Bristol, Brentford and Norwich to be the knock out blow for Mowbray before the international break on the weekend of the 27th. I was then hoping even at the glacial pace the club moves at the next manager would somehow be in place mid April giving him 4-5 easier fixtures to evaluate the squad. Followed by a summer of a total defensive rebuild which has eluded Mowbray for 4 years. However, it appears the unsackable Mowbray is hanging on to the bitter end. Certainly for those fully paid up members of the cult of Mowbray 4 points from 24 is practically time to crack the champagne out. A change seems almost impossible.
  6. Before covid was looking to head out to Melbourne for the ashes. If that’s on will definitely look at take in a Melbourne victory game perhaps seated near the home dugout. 10,000 miles away and 10 years on and still got the appetite to abuse that bald porcine cretin. Never forgive never forget.
  7. To my shame I know a few bonleh fans. They love Mowbray. Says all you need to know really.
  8. 4 bastard points from 24 and the first time played well since November. If this is an I told you so moment there’s no helping them.
  9. I think Iceland was pretty humiliating as well.
  10. Only 33 behind tugay. 🤢. Epitomises how far we’ve fallen that he’s punching those numbers.
  11. Derby, Birmingham and Wednesday all losing. 🤞
  12. 😂. Could win 10-0 and it wouldn’t change my opinion on Mowbray.
  13. Better team so far. If we’re the better team in the second half will be the first time can say that since November.
  14. Post match bingo card: Frustrated We go again Better side Possession Journey Working class Some obscure reference to a theoretical rosy future Excuses-injury’s, officials, pitch
  15. I reckon this is mowbray’s next justification of himself. For that for all we’re not winning games we’re mostly only losing narrowly. So really narrow defeats are as good as wins especially when we win the moral battle of pointless possession.
  16. Unfortunately the manager will see it the same way. At least he’ll have earned about £20,000 this week for his troubles.
  17. Clearly have to find someone but other than Root, who averages 49.6, none of the batsmen are currently good enough to justify a place. Burns averages 30.73, Crawley 37.16, sibley 32.48, bairstow 34.45, stokes 37.19, Pope 32.78, Lawrence 21.71, buttler 34.53, Ali 28.88, foakes 36, Denly 29.83. Obviously stokes contributes as an all rounder, foakes a keeper but in terms of purely batting contributions we have Root. That’s it. Perhaps if the county championship wasn’t reduced to a spring and autumn sport in favour of crickets answer to baseball then might allow young batsmen to learn their trade a bit better.
  18. You just know whether it’s the first win after 7 defeats or the first win after 15 defeats Mowbray and the cult of Mowbray will laud it like it’s an fa cup final win and decree it as the new dawn of the season.
  19. Defenders are coming We can easily win four or five on the bounce in the coming weeks On a journey Just wait and see when Dack, Brereton, Travis, etc are fit. In 2018 judge me at the end of the season. Well not that season the next one. I meant the one after that. Always jam tomorrow never today with Tonebola.
