  1. My prediction. Finish the season in 14th. Then a nice juicy contract extension for Mowbray.
  2. Have they? No functioning boardroom, fans still alienated, last 4 managers from their old pal Jerome's mates spin off agency, ground going to ruin. They pump the money in to be fair but billionaires chucking money at us doesn’t scream learning from their mistakes.
  3. Out of interest who’s in the HSH circus these days?
  4. We’re undoubtedly his biggest success since getting wba promoted 15 ish years ago. Unfortunately for us with his failure at other clubs little old Blackburn Rovers is the peak for Mowbray. He’s not getting a shot at a team above us or a club bigger than us and he’s certainly not getting a job with such autonomy. He knows this and he’ll hang on to this gravy train with everything he’s got.
  5. Slammed at work today so turned my phone off. I was hoping that when I turned it back on would be several messages about his departure. Nothing. Just someone pointing out if we win the £176 euro millions on Friday we’d still not be able to clear the Venkys debt. 🙄
  6. What? Doesn’t every rovers fan want what’s best for the club. No one man is bigger than the club. Absolutely no need for sentiment rovers gave him an opportunity off the managerial scrapheap after a decade of failures. He’s done his best but he’s failed in his own stated goals and we move on. Plus if you’re ever feeling sorry for the guy just remember rovers have made him a millionaire (if he wasn’t already). We’ve also put him back in the shop window but at this point in his managerial career and the same pattern of managerial deficiencies elsewhere Blackburn Rovers is the best Mowbray will do. No one above Rovers is coming in for Mowbray ever. We know it and he knows it as well.
  7. I hate the comparisons with Kean but Jesus wept that’s right up there with bullshit
  8. I’ve honestly felt like it was the end of the road a few times this season. It never is. Throughly depressing state of affairs.
  9. To give the new manager a chance to evaluate the squad? To avoid wasting a transfer window by dithering for a month picking a replacement? Put us out of our misery? Put Mowbray out of his misery? There’s no good reason to keep this going.
  10. Man of honour. 🤣🤣🤣. Won’t be a burden. 🤣🤣🤣
  11. When a man cares more than his bank balance than what’s best for the club I’m afraid so.
  12. Ive no problem with long ball. But it flies in the face of the type of players Mowbray has been buying and the style he's wanted to play for 4 years. Desperation from a manager totally out of his depth.
  13. They all are. Have been for months. Since pne away really.
  14. More importantly. Is Mowbray warm enough. Can sleepy Mo stay awake the full 90.
  15. Can’t expect a right back to bring that under control and score.
  16. I think most agree the 4-3-3 has been an abomination. 3-5-2 hasn’t worked in the past for Tonebola but I think it fits this squad better than the usual formation. But Bennett and Douglas as the wing backs good grief.
  17. If people weren’t angry at last night then apathy has already set in. I was well on the road to not caring but seeing another tactical abomination unfold in front of my eyes, followed by yet more of the usual post match verbal diarrhoea. If Mowbray left tomorrow I could still just about be grateful for turning around coyles mess. But that sentiment is being eroded quickly. Very quickly. Hate is a word I reserve only for Kean and Venkys but I strongly dislike Mowbray as a person.
  18. Yeah a proper boardroom would always have a name or two just in case. What do we have a ceo who laughs at the prospect of the manager being sacked.
  19. Just look at the absolute state of it. He needs to be back in Middlesbrough feet up next to the fire, Mrs M bringing him slices of cake. This job is well beyond him.
  20. Fear of the Venkys is a valid concern but they brought him here. May I ask what is it you trust Mowbray to do? If it’s promotion or even the play offs it’s simply never happening. Ever. He’s too tactically inept. If it’s bumbling around mid table then I trust him also. But at £200 million in debt that can’t go on forever There have been lots of decent suggestions for replacements but I cannot be bothered listing them. Personally I’d have Pearson or Hughes. I disagree it is about the football with Mowbray. I think it’s about himself and his bank balance but that’s just my opinion.
  21. Gallagher is a 5 million pound donkey. But tonight I felt really sorry for him. He’s being set up to fail by the lunatic in the dugout. It’s bad enough he’s put out wide but right back
