  1. Don’t buy this 30 years old antiquated training ground bullshit. It’s currently the highest category it can be. They’re making it sound like a dusty relic from the 1920s. But why? Ask the question who stands to earn out of this particularly as waggott is claiming any money generated will go into redeveloping the training ground. So nothing suggested will reduce debt or improved the playing side of things. When the stadium is crumbling, £200 million in debt, no defenders, why would you waste money on “improving” something to the same standard it already is. It’s illogical unless someone pushing it stands to earn out of it.
  2. Change would be just the tonic for me. Change the manager, change the ceo, change the owners. Bring on the change!!!
  3. Could it not simply be waggott is a chancer who initially blagged his way into a £300,000 a year job through his mate wagga. Then since being at a rudderless football club on decent money, with no leadership from the top, he’s spotted an opportunity to further feather his nest by converting a category one football training ground/academy into a category one training ground/academy.
  4. Jesus wept. Everything I feared.
  5. Didn’t we also smash them 5-0 mere months earlier?
  6. 100/1 for relegation. Hulls results mirror ours in their relegation season. Merce?
  7. It’s clear Mowbray isn’t going anywhere. I must admit I’m mildly curious to see how many consecutive defeats it takes to get the Venkys to pull the trigger. The problem is if we lose 10 in a row they won’t know until a few months time when check the results and think bloody hell need to sack him. Fat Sam was potted on the back of a 7-1 defeat. So going for rovers 1 Coventry 7.
  8. Effectively the theory that subconsciously you make 11 decisions about a person in the first 7 seconds after meeting them. Based on intelligence, appearance, etc. * or 7 decision in first 11 seconds. One or the other. Waggott certainly isn’t someone who you’d likely be impressed by. Strikes me as someone who you’d like to buy a hot drink and sandwich for even though he’ll be a millionaire
  9. https://youtu.be/ZDOI0cq6GZM Just swap Lyle lanley for Steve waggott and the monorail for training ground (not just any training ground a state of the art fully integrated training ground) and I imagine this is how swag wants the residents consultation meeting to go down.
  10. As a side note what’s his accent? I find it highly irritating.
  11. Fairly unimpressed by that as a spectacle. Bit of a circus all told That pink ball retains its lacquer or something so that if the ball hit the seam it turned and jumped but if it hit the shiny side it skidded on. If Root can take 5 for 8 you can tell that there is something wrong. In fact it turned so much that there were hardly any edges. That doesn’t excuse some rank bad shots from England. Both Patel and Ashton were very much on target so that there were no free hits. The problem with Leach is that there are too many balls that are short or over pitched. Once again we were screwed over by the third umpire.
  12. How are the rovers trust getting on with this does anyone know?
  13. I’m going to bed shortly if that smoggy idiot hadn’t been sacked by the time I wake up I’m done.
  14. Think it was only 10 games without a win (4 defeats and 6 draws)
  15. Well nyambe starts after Mowbray’s bizarre rambling.
  16. Don’t watch much champions league but Real Madrid are 2/1 to beat Atalanta. Madrid Watford double for me
  17. Doubt we’ll get near that.
  18. As a rovers fan I can say I’ve no idea what he does here. I also know a charlton fan who had no idea what he did there. Seems struggling clubs just pay him £300,000 to sit on his fat arse.
  19. To be fair I’d say we have a high proportion of very stupid supporters.
  20. Since the Venkys took over the players are worse, the manager is worse, the coaches are worse, the boardroom is worse, the ground is worse, the pitch is worse, the ground staff are worse (well less of them). The only thing that maintained its standard was the training ground/academy. Now that’s going the same way as everything else.
  21. 170 houses at £300,000 average is £51 million. A lot of that will go to the developer. So what is the land actually worth to the club? £5-10 million. Chicken feed. Will the cost of the land even cover the alleged renovations? The real question is who stands to earn out of this. My guess is the Coventry Three. As much as I loath the Venkys I just can’t see them being arsed about recouping so little.
  22. A nothing article there. Might have been an interesting read if outlined the Coventry Threes involvement in their training ground and whether there’s any similarity with our own situation. I think Mowbray particularly lures people in with his Tim nice but dim routine but I reckon there’s a few foxes in the henhouse here
  23. Yes the Walker trust. I don’t know I’m not a lawyer but I know the covenant can only be enforced by the Walker trust. It’s at this point if it goes further the trust need to lawyer up because is it then a case as the Walker trust no longer exist the club can do what they want without compensation to anyone (as I suspect) or are they bound by something else. 🤷‍♂️. As far as my understanding goes it’s difficult to break a covenant only when both parties still exist. Unfortunately for us the Walker trust doesn’t. Like I say I’m not a lawyer and hope I’m wrong but sure someone on here knows the legal intricacies
  24. Yes but could only be enforced by the vendors who now are defunct
