Another point to make the people who said 5 games ago (and will say it again) we’re only 6 points, etc, off the play offs. Well prior to today we had amassed a very credible 10 points from 12 and Bournemouth in free fall. Well currently we are 6 points off the playoffs. When chasing playoff/promotion at this stage that sort of gap is pretty much insurmountable. This season has been over since before Xmas.

Can’t play relegation teams down to 10 men every week.

We’ve had so many undeserved points recently. Guess something had to break.

They’re dreadful for one

I wouldn’t even say he’s versatile. He’s a midfielder who, at Mowbray’s behest, played poorly at right back, left back, etc. Could also play him in goal but doesn’t make him a keeper. Bennett was a stalwart in league one, a big part of the promotion and frankly that’s where he should have stayed. Prepared to give Mowbray the benefit of the doubt about his Bennett in at all costs attitude. A quadruple substitution with bennett left on the bench was unthinkable even last season.

So after a decade of destroying the club the fact they keep the academy ticking over is enough for you. Ok.

What have they made right out of interest?

Seems the broadcasting rights for the India test are up in the air. With a 3 way fight between channel 4, sky and BT. I’d be happy for anyone other than BT but I do think all England football and cricket games should be shown on terrestrial TV. If channel 4 gets it will be the first series since 2005 ashes and the first away tour.

As predicted I see kipre hasn’t played a game for West Brom. Confirms what I’ve always suspected that players would rather sit on the bench of a premier league team, not even an established one, than play every week in the championship.
