  1. Of course your right, but it’s the current rules that are out of kilter with the game.
  2. That’s why I have lost so much love for the game. Handball my arse.
  3. Tugay for manager. Smoking fags compulsory for all players. Well I can’t see why I can’t put a random name up, just goes with all the others. Joey Barton FFS.
  4. I think in reality there can only be two lists of candidates that we, as fans, could formulate. There is a list of desirable managers who we can only dream about coming here and we actually think are either out of our budget or too sensible to take the job. An interview with a so called CEO who is actually nothing more than a gatekeeper? What a laugh. The second list is of managers who have dropped out of the spotlight and would take any job with any conditions attached, just to return to the spotlight. If it didn’t work out they could simply slag off the owners and plead that they didn’t know the club was run in such a poor way. Regarding Ainsworth, as a Rovers fan I would love to think that he would jump at the chance of coming here, but as a Rovers fan, do we not think, that like us all on here, that he doesn’t follow goings on at Ewood and realise what a shit show our club has become?
  5. Just watched Liverpool drop two points against Spuds. A big loss to their title aspirations yet Juergen Klopp still goes onto the pitch at the final whistle and congratulates all the Spurs players. The man is a class act. We never saw Fergie do such classy acts. He was a great manager but had zero class, that’s why I always loved Kenny’s mind game wins with him.
  6. More chance of Pinocchio pitching up than Pocchetino ! Oh I forgot, we already have Pinocchio.
  7. I was just thinking the other day, the radio stations on St. Patrick’s day were wetting themselves over the Paddy day yet I’ve hesrd nowt today celebrating the fact that it’s St. George’s day. What is it with this country? Happy St. George’s day everyone.
  8. I’ll start telling you of the 1967 European Cup run if your not careful and my trip to the Stadion da Luz as a 17year old.
  9. Totally agree. I’m sure he will be offered a new contract on the basis that he has carried out the owners instructions probably given to him around the New Year. “Now look hear Tony, finishing in the top six or worse still, the top two, will not be tolerated. Make sure it doesn’t happen”
  10. Tears for Fears - Everybody Wants To Rule The World
  11. According to o Wiki his birthday is August 24th. Never mind, still great memories.,
  12. The naming of the players in that photo must have been done by Brian Clough
  13. That Don Fazackerley must have been some boy. A dead ringer for his lad Derek and looks just as young.
  14. Gerry & The Pacemakers. Ferry Across The Mersey
  15. I recently read his biography which is superb. No holds barred account of his life, a real insight Into the man. For those with Amazon Video, look up “Shane”. Top documentary about him. Good to see they are naming a stand after him at the MCG. RIP
  16. I was just thinking exactly that TS. The type of player we all used to hate, Hughes, Batty, Todd, Savage, etc. When they wore the blue and white they became gods, they were hard and stood no messing and we loved them for it.
