If they throw the linesman under the bus then a very large can of worms will be opened. Players will feel they will have been given Carte Blanche to manhandle referees and I can see many officials at grass roots throwing in the towel. Robertson grabbed the linesman’s arm and he shrugged him away. I hope Robertson is given a retrospective red card. I’m actually surprised that he didn’t roll around on the floor.
