  1. The Celtic game is confirmed, it's not a rumour
  2. "Build a system around the players you have, not the other way around" The literal opposite of Mowbray
  3. If Grayson even gets the opportunity to have an interview here someone should be getting sacked. Christ.
  4. Main issue with Carhalval is that he's only ever at clubs for 1 season (or less!) Looks like Sheff we'd was his only stint longer than that, and in fairness he managed 2 play off finishes, getting to the final in one of those. Wouldn't be much of a long term solution but it doesn't really matter if he got us promoted.
  5. If they've genuinely done nothing to date, it's borderline criminal.
  6. Finally they've released an official statement. As always, leaves more questions than answers!!
  7. Interesting, you can never be sure when it comes to Twitter accounts.
  8. Obviously take with a pinch of salt as it's just a random twitter account but:
  9. Just put a great ball through for someone in the build up to Wednesdays goal just now!
  10. It's borderline impossible to think that Venkys didn't know about Mowbrays impending exit and therefore should have a plan in place BUT a huge part of me thinks they just expected Mowbray to sign on again in a couple of weeks and that'll be that. In fairness to Mowbray, he's tried at least, to force Venkys hand one way or another by going public with it. It's backfired somewhat on him as they didnt pick up the phone like he expected them too. Now, I have no idea what the plan is but you can be sure that there will be little urgency coming from India, it's horrendous, torture for the fans that they care so little for the club.
  11. Amazingly, he appears to have a patreon. £2 per month by the looks. Ironically, it's headline is "Alan Nixon is creating football stories" (presumably, out of thin air)
  12. I have no doubts they will just appoint another cheap, agent pushed option as manager with no ambition to get the club into the PL.
  13. Cheers for the summary, appreciate that. Time will tell soon enough if Venkys really want promotion. Obviously a few concerns in there but it just reaffirms the shambolic nature of how the club is run.
  14. Forest and WBA apparently offering Rothwell a contract, in Forest's case, offering him a deal irrespective of what division they end up in. According to Lancs live that is.
  15. So what you're saying is, that Rovers will buck the trend and instead of appointing someone decent and having some success post Mowbray, like all his previous clubs have, Venkys will appoint a total no mark and we'll struggle on?
  16. Will the club finally announce something today? No excuse now really. Will Waggot finally come out of hiding and actually speak to the press about any plans whatsoever? Not holding my breath on either tbh.
  17. My feeling is that they probably expected Mowbray and Waggot to fly out to India at the end of the season and go through the season and what the plans going forward would be and then if all on the same page, they'd give him a new deal. Otherwise, surely, at the very least, we'd have announced it being his last game, either before or after and thanked him for the last 5 years? It also ties in with Venkys being unbelievably slow at doing anything related to Rovers. They've got a lot to do, in a shorter time this summer and we'll likely lose out on any decent freebies (as usual) because we won't have a manager in place.
  18. The club have officially announced the departure of Rothwell and Johnson, so there is a pulse somewhere in the communications department. It does however lead me to think that the owners might very well be thinking about or thought at least, that Mowbray might stay, as there is still nothing about him leaving.
  19. Oh my bad, just the £2.5bn then. We are still talking an insane difference in money being thrown around in the premier League vs championship. The whole thing is just a joke.
  20. Fair play to him. Superb player on his day, nailed down some consistency in our good run of form. Became pretty much non existent after not getting his January move, mind you. Assuming it's Bournemouth, he will be in a battle to stay up but good luck to him I say. At 27, this might be his only chance for Prem footy.
