  1. He seems incredibly injury prone. And his injuries keep him out for months at a time. January 2017 - Ruptured Achilles tendon - out for the rest of the season 2018 - Hip injury - 5 months out 2019/2020 season - Ankle injury - missed most of the season Feb 2020 - torn Achilles (other leg) - 6 months out August 2020 - snaps same Achilles - unknown length of time - assuming most of the season as he only made 5 apps.
  2. Absolutely unacceptable that Hull put a process in place where they can jepordise the game so close to kick off. As others have said, testing should have been done yesterday. Hull fans on Twitter saying they've already tried to have the game called off previously. The cynic in me is thinking Hull have done this deliberately.
  3. And if that's a Toblerone behind them its a big win.
  4. Rovers slippers, great shout. A new years present from me to me I think!
  5. Merry Christmas and Happy new year to all Rovers fans!
  6. A foot in each at the moment. Can't deny the season has is going superbly and to be in with a shot of going joint top (even temporarily) is incredible. But a winless streak being around the corner is always in the back of my mind. Perhaps harsh but I can only judge him based on the end of season position.
  7. Currently at 19th December. I can only assume the alleged option on the BBD and Kaminski contracts would have a deadline, otherwise this would surely stop them signing pre contracts with overseas clubs? There has been no breakthrough, so we need to get these activitied, in the next week, surely?
  8. *Watches highlights* *Closes Skysports app* *Opens YouTube app* First video in feed, Blackburn v Birmingham highlights.
  9. Can't remember the last time team's expected defeat against Rovers but reading the Birmingham twitter comments, that's definitely a common theme.
  10. Don't you dare cancel the season Boris!
  11. Bucky o' hare! You beautiful bastard!
  12. Seriously good chance for us to close the gap on 2nd place with Bournemouth losing. It's going to be a nerve wrecking afternoon!
  13. I've seen that both QPR and Crystal Palace have now partnered with a Cryptocurrency business and are now selling these digital tokens to fans in exchange for a "licenced digital image" https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/qpr-launch-digital-collectibles-141221/ Crystal palace seem to be offering even less just giving fans votes in a poll or to play games against other fans, seems a bit weird. https://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/partner-news/crystal-palace-to-launch-cpfc-fan-token-on-socios-com/2021-12-09/ I follow a bit of digital art and I've come across NFT'S before. I've never been able to wrap my head around how people part with so much money to "own" a digital image I can just right click and save as 🤷‍♂️ Needless to say, the QPR and Palace announcements have gone down like a lead balloon on Twitter and it all seems very dodgey. There is also a bloke popping up on various clubs Twitter accounts promoting this Cryptocurrencies, acting like he's a lifelong fan of each, saying how great these partnerships are. Anyone else come across these before and have more knowledge than I have? Feels like the sort of shady, pyramid scheme Waggott would be all over!
  14. Unbelievable really. To think most expected a season of struggle, definitely me included in that, to now sit 4th after just beating 2nd place in their own back yard. Mental but loving it.
  15. Gotta pray that Nyambe and Wharton aren't out for the foreseeable.
  16. 2-0!! Absolutely class stuff. Let's hope Wharton is ok!
  17. These Chilean fans are just plain weird.
  18. A win today puts down a real marker from us. Let's do it! 💪
  19. Stoke, who had just 25% possession up till this point, just scored a really good goal on the counter. Winning the ball back in the midfield, 2 passes later and it's in the back of the QPR net. A good through ball and good run, all of QPR's possession undone.
  20. @DE. Summed it up very well.
  21. Before a ball was kicked this season, you would have really struggled to put an argument forward for sticking with Mowbray. Seeing the bigger picture was exactly the reason for replacing him and there was absolutely no way you, or any other of the "real fans" (as you like to call them) could have predicted this season going like this. Any support of Mowbray up to the start of the season has just been done on blind faith. And just to be clear, any fans who were calling for him to be replaced only want the best for Blackburn Rovers football club and have ambitions greater than a mid-lower championship finish.
