  1. I doubt it, he didn't even make the bench yesterday.
  2. I wouldn't bet against him starting tbh. Not sure who else there is.
  3. 😂😂 Alan Nixon is literally bricking it with your transfer prowess! Get your patreon going!
  4. Adam Forshaw, come on down! "He's only a squad player" "He'll get like 5mins off the bench" "He's an experienced head to guide the younger lads in training" "He's not coming as a starting player" Laughable planning by the clubs hierarchy. Worth noting, he was brought on in centre midfield, ahead of JRC yesterday. JE clearly doesn't rate JRC in CM.
  5. He's been recalled, confirmed by the Sheff Wed owner at a fans forum. They have a 7 day grace on his recall so was available for 2 more games.
  6. O'brien would be a grat siging but absolutely he will not be coming here. If he's a genuine target, we must be missing out on an attacking player because Forshaw and Sanderson were highlighted as cheap deals. A deal for O'brien, even on loan, won't be cheap.
  7. The flip side is that John Stones was regularly playing CM successfully for City last season. I haven't seen enough of Sanderson to know if he could do it but none of JRC, Buckley or Forshaw will provide the same level of defensive cover as Tronstad.
  8. I was thinking earlier if Sanderson could play in CM temporarily. Eustace has built this team around being a string defensive unit and Tronstad is key to that, screening the back 4. Sanderson, by his own admission, is a ball playing centre half, who loves to play a long "diag". Him playing as a CDM would allow Buckley to push forward more and allow us not to play Forshaw.
  9. We all knew that without adequate, quick recruitment in January, injuries/suspensions would start to bite and result would slip. Today, having to bring on Forshaw for a large portion of the game is exactly why we'll fall away from this playoffs position. A Plymouth reject and he's now basically a starter for us. Horrific.
  10. Yeah good line up. He had to start both Gueye and ACD after their impacts off the bench.
  11. Bloody hell Jim, thought we had a chance until I read this.
  12. They can fuck off if they are waiting for another player sale for funds. They've made quite enough over the last 18months.
  13. Venkys ain't spending £2.5m across the whole window, let alone on 1 player.
  14. I'm sure Mogga had Wallace lined up for us with the Rothwell money but obviously Venkys ended that. If it's correct, I'm guessing he rates Wallace so gotta assume he's staying put.
  15. Excellent result, especially considering how bad we were in that first half. Dolan, Hedges, Cantwell and Weimann totally ineffective in that first 45. Credit to JE, he made the changes and Gueye and ACD had a good impact. Cantwell came to life and even Weimann was on hand to make up for woeful first half with a goal. Can't get my head around the stick Callum Brittain has had on here, a superb right back and has probably been our best player this season. Delighted he got a (well taken) goal. Back up to 5th 💪
  16. Sure as night follows day, Rovers always balls up a golden opportunity when presented with one.
  17. Pompey hit the crossbar! Wake up FFS
  18. Weimann preferred over Leonard or Gueye? JE sending a message to the higher ups?
  19. This makes me feel better tbh
