  1. Rovers the only goalless game in the Championship tonight
  2. Loads of people predicted 0-0 tonight, hope they all put bets on
  3. The ship that was 2nd place sailed weeks ago
  4. You have to wonder what the Rovers players say to each other privately about Sam Gallagher.
  5. Not all, some say he's very good at running around alot
  6. Luton and Sheff U 1 point behind us both with a game in hand as it stands
  7. So how long since we scored a goal from open play?
  8. Concrete in his boots instead of feet.
  9. Gallagher the only "recognised" forward in that line-up.......... prepare for a goal fest
  10. Mike Hickman .... someone to stick the ball in the net From Plymouth, Chorley lad Paul Mariner
  11. What a fantastic game ...... thousands there from Plymouth too I bet you thought all football matches were like that😃 RIP Gordon Lee, good manager for BRFC
  12. 48-4 No matter who England play, home or away, weak teams or strong teams, the batting fails 9 times out of 10
  13. To proper Lancastrians it is. And so are Manchester, Liverpool, Southport, Barrow, Warrington and Widnes .
  14. Dolan is like a wasp - buzzes around alot and is very annoying but doesn't actually have much use. Until he starts scoring goals and doing his twists and turns in areas that matter - in and around the penalty box - his value to the team is minimal. He looked like a little boy lost at Fulham
  15. Minor southern clubs over Lancashire town teams. Really? Time for the great historic northern clubs such as Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Sunderland, Bolton, Preston, Rovers etc to regain confidence and get back and stay in the top league......that's "where they should be"
  16. At one point Giles let the ball slip under his right foot for a throw-in because of his lack of control and the angles of playing on that flank are different; he's one of the most one-footed players I've seen Him playing on the right wing was classic Mowbray of square pegs in round holes and overthinking a problem that did not exist
  17. With you 100%. There's a lad on another thread who says it's the content that matters, not the grammar or spelling. Wouldn't get a job at my place
  18. Hope you escape longsiders and send third and fourth division clubs like Norwich, Watford and Brentford back where they belong.
  19. Millwall and their fans will be seething after the ref called off the Ewood match and they're on a tremendous run of form - they will be well up for this one. If they win and win their match in hand, they overtake us. It's that tight at the top Somehow we've got to find a way to score goals again and while the defence and Kaminski had a rare off day at Fulham I'd hope we'd be back to our usual tight defensive unit. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a 0-0.
  20. From the position we were in, 2nd place, and with a fair wind, in with a chance of challenging for the top, failure to qualify for the play-offs would see most managers sacked But the same has been said of Tony many times over the past 5 years so unless he decides he's had enough and resigns he'll still be here next season. My feeling is he will carry on - football is a drug and he loves the rush of it. Like Hodgson, Wenger etc some of them cannot let go
  21. Lots of people complaining about some of the Fulham "dirty" players and the antics of the likes of the Mitrovic and the pony tailed centre half in particular but the match provided another example of how Rovers get bullied out of games. Our pygmy lightweight forward line that started the match was a joke - the Fulham defenders must have looked at Dolan and Khadra and Giles are been sniggering to themselves. Tosin played most of the match barely having to break sweat We've needed some tougher nuts in the team for some while, forwards who will rough up the centre halves and midfield players who will put their foot in when needed. We're far too "nice"
  22. Highly unlikely we won’t lose at least one. Millwall in midweek is a possibility - they’re on a good run and can overtake us on our present form. Bournemouth and QPR lost games yesterday from winning positions. It happens. We might go unbeaten from here but it’s fanciful in my view
  23. Unless Mowbray does something this will be 5-0 and another big dent in our GD
