Gallagher on the right wing and Buckley floating about to no effect in the middle Great 10/10 for persistence; 0/10 for tactical nous Tony -
Looking back to this post in January and it's even more pertinent now Venky's didn't invest, and we could be out of the top 6 by 5pm on Saturday
-
Good win by Coventry tonight too; it's the teams sneaking up on the rails that you have to watch and there's so many now that could make the top 6. Somehow we've got to find a way of winning again.
-
Yep, 2 points lost by us rather than 1 gained. Albion were there for the taking and we couldn't do it
-
Bournemouth 4 points ahead of us in 3rd with 2 games in hand...... that could be 10 points ahead of us I'd say they're looking pretty good in 2nd place The problem is we can't score for love nor money against any team at the moment....

It doesn't work well, we've been well and truly sussed out by the league's other managers Same old "stepping up" mantra won't solve the lack of goals crisis. That should have been sorted in January

Just downgraded us from a narrow defeat to a heavy defeat after that post Thanks for the tip - a contra bet has usually been profitable -

Tony will start with Gallagher on the right wing and Buckley false 9 and it won't work because it never does I'd be astonished if we get a point from this -

Just because something has always been done a certain way doesn’t mean it is right. It’s a non argument. Football needs to communicate better with the public, for example the farce when Rovers fans made an unnecessary journey to Hull which could have been prevented with better communication and Saturdays farce which needed to be explained to a mystified and frustrated public Saying “that’s the way it’s always been done” is just plain dumb. If that were always the case football would still have 11 a side with no substitutes and a rope instead of crossbars -

WTF not? When they've made a decision late in the day that affects the lives of tens of thousands of fans it's not alot to ask Football refs will also be asked explain their on-field decisions in future. Several countries are looking at it and other sports already do it -

Refs should be contractually obliged to explain their decisions to the public when a match is called off Transparency and courtesy - it's not alot to ask -

Has there been any statement from the club, or an apology? If I were Millwall FC, I'd be hopping mad and making a complaint to the EFL What we did to them was worse than the Hull postponement -

West Brom losing again puts into perspective our lamentable failure to win at the Hawthorns on Monday. Albion were so bang average it's hard to believe they've been so high up in the league for most of the season. Monday was a case of 2 points lost for Rovers rather than a point gained
-
We've scored 1 goal in the last 540 minutes of league football.......who "stepped up" then? Fact is the club failed dismally to strengthen the forward dept in the transfer window

They'd have played on that years ago but in the modern world if it stays like that I'd say the match will be off -

All very true but Walker clearly made a strategic error in not investing further in 1995. The result was he then saw his beloved Rovers get relegated a few years later and although he died in the summer of 2000 after our promotion back to the top flight, he spent the last years of his life watching us in the second tier again. The irony is he spent another fortune in the late 1990s, often on some very average players, when the money would have been better spent in summer 1995 when quality players would have flocked to Ewood.
