  1. Fans are right to be sceptical. Man City was the wrong move for him and the Sunderland stories do ring alarm bells. He's also a case of another player who had too much praise and money when he was too young However if he is genuine about his desire to play and rebuild his career we could have one heck of a player. Give him a chance
  2. But for 2 absolute clangers from Raya at Ipswich and against Reading we would be 2nd or 3rd in the table now. He needs to be replaced if we have any ambitions of getting into the playoffs in the near future
  3. Anchebe's glittering record. I hope he'll be paying us to let him play Years Team Apps (Gls) 2006–2013 Everton 131 (18) 2013–2016 West Bromwich Albion 55 (6) 2016–2017 Sunderland 18 (3) 2017 Beijing Enterprises 11 (2
  4. Victor Anichebe, the sound of barrels being scraped because all other options are exhausted. Dearie me
  5. Still undefeated and a great team spirit to fight back but an opportunity missed to gain 3 points against a poor Reading side. 3rd division defending and poor mindset in the 1st half cost us dearly. We played properly for only 45 minutes again - a similar fault to last season. More players injured and new signings desperetaly needed - but then the club has known that all summer.
  6. Preston losing at Norwich 2-0 and Notlob beating Brum 1-0
  7. Brentford up next and they're beating Villa 2-1 away tonight
  8. Do we deserve this ? Who cares - come on the 3rd division crocks and get that winner !
  9. After an awful first 45 expect to see a better second half. We might pull one back but the damage has been done.
  10. BRFC, a registered charity based in India
  11. 3rd division team now on the pitch ....... with 4th division subs bench
  12. Raya is capable of a howler at any time. Classic Rovers at the moment - Reading haven't won a point before tonight
  13. I'd take a 1-0. Draw most likely unless Reading really are useless
  14. Blackburn: Raya, Nyambe, Smallwood, Armstrong, Rothwell, Graham, Mulgrew, Bell, Lenihan, Evans, Bennett, The above is a League One line-up and highlights the failure to sign at least 4 desperately needed better players in the transfer window
  15. Victory tonight would put us in the top 6 if other results go our way. So while beating Reading is not a "must-win" it's would be a big confidence boost for players and fans to see us so high in the table this early in the season.
  16. Unless it's a on a pay-if-you-play-basis there absolutely no point because Chapman will continue to keep breaking down.
  17. Lancashire fell short by 6 runs - not quite good enough again. There's nothing new with England batting failures - it been going on for years. How many times have England been 70 - 3 (or worse) and had to be bailed out by the middle order ? I don't know what the answer is. Many players they've tried have obvious technical faults, while others do not seem to have the temperament for test cricket. And it makes no sense to keep recalling players such as Jennings who have failed time and again.
  18. Sentence 2 is a non-sequitur. The lack of transfer activity seems to be getting to you. Calm down before using words like "pathetic".
  19. Agree with the above. I was merely questioning your very odd original post.
  20. So to sum up, you fear we might be overpaying for Brereton at £7m-8m or whatever because no one else seems interested in him but you don't want us to lose signing him if someone else did show an interest and offered more money ? Illogical Mr Spock.
