  1. Everyone is confused over what Mowbray is trying to do so I'm sure the players are confused. I've no doubt that were Mowbray to be sacked this week, results would improve. Sheff Wed are doing very well without a manager
  2. Just a feeling. Something's clearly not right.
  3. The team he picked and the way Rovers are playing is by the way. There's a real bad feeling around the club at the moment.
  4. All 200 of them ?
  5. .... visited many times. Like it alot but couldn't live there. And worst of all, there's no Rovers.
  6. Lovely. Come home lad. Thatcher has gone and US under Trump must be hell.
  7. Mowbray looking to the future by including the up and coming Smallwood and Evans. Or maybe they're getting game time with a view to a recall at the weekend?
  8. Next season, next season. Always jam tomorrow.....which never arrives.
  9. Hope she enjoys it and is hooked for life. Mine considers supporting Rovers through her school years as the most character testing thing she has ever done.
  10. Can you have non-playing captains? They do in golf. Bennett would make a very good non-playing captain.
  11. Does beg the question of why we signed him, because many fans thought his injury record made him too much of a risk and it would be a mistake. Presumably he's only here because no one else wanted him - and he's cheap.
  12. Playing well and losing is a very bad sign. It's what relegation teams do.
  13. Burnley beating soton 3-0 the gulf widens
  14. Thanks for that insight. A damning indictment on the club and the depths to which it has sunk. Is this Mowbray's fault or the admin people or a combination of factors? And why was the club captain unceremoniously shoved out of the door so quickly? Bennett as captain will not go down well either
  15. Cunningham seems well received but in an ideal world, would have loved Austin (instead of Gallagher), and Reed, and a big centre back, which we are still sorely lacking. With them on board as Bowyer said we might have been able to have given it a right good go. Have to say overall, it's been a disappointing window.
  16. The 28-year-old has joined on a season-long deal but is not expected to feature for Tony Mowbray’s side in their Championship clash at Fulham on Saturday. Seems I was right. The lad's raring to go to judge from his comments but will have to earn his place in our first choice defence. This could only happen under Tony Mowbray.
  17. So will Cunningham play at Fulham, or will he need 2 months to inspect the wallpaper at Ewood to make sure he feels at home? Defence likely to be Bennett, Lenihan, Williams, Bell but should be Nyambe, Lenihan, Williams, Cunningham not that I like Williams but I don't think he'll play the City lad
  18. Another of Mowbray's stupid public comments. Still can't believe what he said about Magliore today
  19. Drinkwater's better than average though. Good player. Wish we had someone as good as Dyche.
  20. One thing is clear. All hopes of a much stronger squad this window and a push for a top 6 place have disappeared. As it stands, I think we'll be mid table at best and it will be another season wasted.
  21. Fulham also signed Bobby Reid from Cardiff. So that's 2 Reed/Reids in 1 day. They've signed some good players. Revised my prediction from 3-1 to 4-0 defeat.
  22. If we don't sign at least 1 new experienced defender then I think we'll be in the bottom 6 this season
  23. Dynamic player. Liked him alot, especially with Travis. But his opportunities would be limited as Mowbray went for a 32-year-old from Derby instead
  24. Reed nailed on to have a blinder on Saturday. Disappointed Mowbray didn't want him but then Mowbray disappoints me alot.
