Agree, which is why Mowbray will probably have his excuses lined up by Friday night over what could go wrong. Is it too much to hope that instead of limping to the inevitable 1-1 draw to see a ruthless Rovers put these sorts of teams to the sword?

3rd was maybe offside but it was a horrible blunder by Raya. If he couldn;t hold the shot he should at least have made sure he pushed the ball wide away from danger. Basic goalkeeping.

Conceding 4 at home to Newcastle reserves and a club in turmoil on and off the pitch that didn't really want to through anyway is pathetic no matter how you try to dress it up.

I strongly suggest that instead of asking football fans to fill in an online tickbox questionnaire you actually get out and about in the town and talk to people ? Proper research involves hard leg work talking to council leaders, the chamber of commerce, business chiefs, shop owners, people in the pubs and clubs, and the top brass at Rovers too to find out their opinions. Not something you can do on the internet from your bedroom.

Six months is a long time in football. Teams and players lose form, managers gets sacked. Just because players were given new contracts last summer doesn't mean they should be automatic picks and or that they cannot be replaced. Football is constantly changing; the "money men" in India or at Ewood should know that by now.

Loyalty is fine but standing still isn't . We need to keep improving and evolving ........Travis has shown he's an upgrade on Smallwood while Rodwell looks a class act and needs a run - possibly by shunting Mulgrew to left back. Mowbray does worry me.

Learning to play with to goal isn't easily. I was in my late 20s until I could do it properly ....but then I wasn't training and practising every day. There's also Dack at the club who does it well despite his height by sticking his bum into the defender and rolling the ball round them, like Dalglish used to. I'd love to have played with these people just once, to see and learn how they do it and then try it myself. I see the likes of Nuttall though and wonder - do they want to learn and do they train and practise hard enough to get better ? Do they want to get better ?

Brereton must indeed by very poor if he's ahead of Nuttall. In addition to having a poor technique I lost count of the times he misjudged the bounce of a clearance, resulting in the ball always coming straight back at us. The lad is a good athlete and has a good physique but doesn't use it. He trains every day with Graham, who is a master at getting his body between the ball and the man, and holding off defenders. Why isn't Nuttall's learning to do the same ?

It was a hard fought game and one that we might have lost with a different approach and I'm delighted we won but it was hard to watch because of the lack of quality among certain players ........the failure of the likes of Nuttall and Bell (at times) to do the basics was striking. Nuttall isn't a Championship player by any stretch of the imagination and Bell only border line. The rest of the Rovers team was solid if uninspiring. Millwall were just as awful but at least they did manage to test Raya a few times.

Nuttall or the game ? Both had the charm of flat beer. Mowbray was right when he said after the game that he wouldn't like to have paid money to watch it.

Funny how supporters see things so differently. To me, Nuttall is never going to be a player. I thought he was awful yesterday. His technique is so poor and he doesn't work that hard for me. I haven't seen alot of Brereton but I cannot believe at £7m Nuttall is so much better than him. That was my first win at Millwall in decades of going there. Somehow though it felt very flat as the performance and match as a whole was so dispiriting

Strange evening in Cold Blow Lane The last 5 minutes were exciting and totally unexpected after the dross that had gone on before. It was without doubt one of the dullest matches I've ever seen. Millwall and Rovers were as bad as each other and we did not even have a shot on target until we scored. For what it's worth this is how I saw it. Mowbray - I suppose he must take the plaudits for changing the team that led to the win but that starting XI was all wrong. Reed is not a flank player, Nyambe should have started (why didn't he BTW?) and Nuttall on that performance shouldn't be anywhere near the 1st team (why didn't Graham start?) Mowbray;s caution and lack of ambition was glaringly obvious today. It looked like he'd set his stall out for a draw until the final 10 minutes when we started to press and at last looked a decent side. We're so much better when we're on the front foot. I'm convinced this team is lower in the table than it should be because of Mowbray's innate conservative management style. Raya - very good game, did nothing wrong, dealt with the few Millwall threats Bennett - solid throughout, even more so when switched to left midfield. Mr Dependable Lenighan - very good game, is he finally getting to grips with this division? Rodwell - very good, with one or two moments of Premier League class Bell - mixed bag of good and the embarrassingly bad. Millwall clearly targeted him in the first half - all their attacks were down his flank. Needs to be tougher and more physical, and trust his pace, which he has in abundance. Reed - busy as always but wasted out wide, Mowbray's square pegs in round holes again. Rovers played so much better when he was switched to the middle Travis - quiet in the first half and got better as the game wore on. Deserves to start every game at the moment Evans - worked hard but achieved little of note Dack - always trying to make something happen but not his best game. I wouldn't have taken him off. Conway - neat and tidy, didn't make any mistakes but no real threat. Mowbray really needs to find a young, fast winger Nuttall - dear, oh dear. Why did he start ? Watched him closely and he really is not good enough. No physicality, can't play with his back to goal (he trains with Graham every day - can't he learn?), control is poor and doesn't look interested half the time. Playing him wide on the right is pointless too, because he often takes up the space Nyambe could run in to. Subs: Nyambe - excellent, the lad has a big future. Graham - did his usual, led the line, stood strong and tall and won free kicks in the right areas of the pitch. Armstrong - very good goal and set up the first but that's his role for me, a substitute who can change a game but not a starter. Rovers fans - in good voice throughout even when there's nothing to shout about in one of the most boring first 85 minutes you'll ever see. We've still got idiots who insist on standing though, even in front of parents with young children Millwall fans - listening to some of the younger ones on South Bermondsey station after the game and on the train to London Bridge was interesting. They're southern , they can't help it

Rovers have fans branches all over the world. Always thought Leeds was a bit of dump. Sheffied is better. You're not special and you're only on here because you're winning

So results mean everything - no matter how you get them ? How would you like it if Derby had been spying on you - and they had won ?
