Have you asked all of their 30,000 plus fan base ? Just because you don't like Sam and Mick doesn't mean they agree with you.

Expecting a very tough game. Cannot recall seeing Rovers beat the Blades that many times over the decades. Although we've drawn too many games so far I wouldn't be surprised or too disappointed to see this finish all square.
-
Rovers' late entry surcharge is similar to the rail franchises who raise prices massively for walk-on rail fares. In both cases they deter people who through force of circumstance or preference make late decisions and instead force people to seek alternatives - in Rovers case not attend the match and in the case of rail travel by alternative means. Both mean the club and the railway lose out on valuable business and both aren''t fair to supporters and passengers.

Under-achieving teams always blame the referee when they ought to be looking at themselves to their own failings. Referees don't win matches but good footballs teams do. We're doing okay but it could be so much better. 4 drawn games at home out of 5 is too many

There's no embarrassment. 3 points slipped away today through poor finishing. In other games poor defending has let us doewn. Good team spirit hides the fact we've drawn too many games that should have been won. Outside of your blue and white bubble fans are allowed to point out the obvious. Mowbray's something of a draw expert for us at this level - as this season and 2 years ago show.
-
Disappointing result. Mowbray draws too many games, same fault led to relegation 2 years ago. Lenihan is off form and needs dropping,, and Mulgrew's reversion to injury type makes the failure to sign a solid centre half last month mystifying. Downing isn't a solution at this level The die is cast for the season it appears. We're too good to get involved in the relegation struggle but not good enough to challenge for the top 6.
-
Downing isn't good enough at this level
-
We need 2 new centre halves - and quick. Lenihan is a liability and Mulgrew has reverted to type with injuries

The opposition is irrelevant. It happens far too often. -

Mowbray's teams concede too many goals - always have done. Saturday's collapse at Stoke was a case in point. Conceding late is down to lack of concentration and poor game management. Needs concentration and determination to see a game out -

Burnley fans would disagree -
Burns has had a good season but I'd be amazed if he comes off at international level. England have real problems at 1, 2 and 3. There doesn't appear to be a top class player in the county game who can step up.
-
Jennings won't get anywhere near that average for England. Poor by Lancs. In football, the manager would be sacked.

Ipswich fans are getting what they deserve. Thery more or less forced out an excellent manager in Mick McCarthy, demanding change and championship manager type football, and now they are getting to realise that it doesn't work. For clubs like Ipswich with little money to spend pragmatism is always the best policy . Spoke to an Ipswich fan last week asnd he says he's rather get relegated playing "good football" than have McCarthy and be a strong and stable Championship club. How daft can you get?

Derby vs Rovers post match thread

Armstrong looks out of his depth in the Championship. He's a quickish player a division below but at this level defenders are faster and stronger and at the moment he hasn't got the nous, skill and physicality to make an impact. He's not a wide man, cannot play with his back to goal and he certainly should not play up front on his own like at Derby last night - hopefully Mowbray's learnt his lesson on that one. -
Only fools bet - you win hands down.

Bell's been one of my favourite players in the past. There's a clear case for recalling him based on form and ability but I doubt it would happen.
-
Elgar and Smith are ugly batsmen but their techniques are/were sound. I've said the county cupboard appears to be bare but that doesn't mean Jennings should go on tour this winter as he looks to be no better than any of the others they've tried. England still need a 1, 2 and 3 and they'd better find them quickly or we can forget winning back the Ashes next summer. I'm afraid your knowledge of cricket matches your knowledge of football and politics - a big fat zero. If you''d ever played cricket (which you clearly haven't because you wouldn't spout such nonsense), you'd be a walking wicket.
-
To repeat and spell it out in words of one syllable, in my opinion we don't have a Test-class standard 1, 2 or 3. Now that Cook has quit there doesn't appear to be any good enough in the county game to come in to replace him; Burns has been mentioned but he's got an odd technique and even if he comes off we still need 2 more quality players at the top of the order from somewhere. Playing makeshift players like Moeen in the top 3 won't work against the best bowlers. I saw Hales make an excellent 100 in a Lord's Test against Sri Lanka a few years back; no one has done any better since he was dropped so he might be worth a sustained run in the side - can't be any worse than Roy, Jennings and all the other useless players they've tried. It wasn't me who made silly clueless references in the first place.

There's no one in that team to hold the ball up. You can't leave Graham out of any Rovers side at present.. -

Good point but we were so lucky, especially in the first half. The players really battled for the fans and the club but we were lacking in quality all over the field. Mowbray really needs to shake the team up. He made some decent signings in the summer and they need to get game time now. -

Mr Caution says the team that got promoted deserves to start until proven otherwise. Tonight might make him change his mind. -

For the first time this season we look way out of our depth. We don't deserve a point from this game and Derby will be wondering why they aren't at least 2 ahead
