Aside from the bickering and the grumbling is there any firm transfer news or even speculation? It's gone very quiet -

Travis is a real loss to this club. Same with Brittain - talented, experienced players who will be sorely missed over the course of the season Neither should have been allowed to leave. Damn the owners and the pygmies running the Ewood operation -

Sad, emotional. You can hear it in his voice. He's obviously very upset to be leaving. Wish him all the best. Very good player on his day, probably never quite lived up to his potential -

Duffy was rough as hell when he joined us from Everton, clumsy, prone to gaffes, a poor player, but improved enormously in his short time at Ewood only to leave under a cloud and give the impression he was doing us a favour playing for Rovers. Too much baggage and he's 34 in January too. No thanks -
Watched the highlights on TV. Wharton was substituted in the Forest match but Hughes stayed on? Adam can play beautiful passes but he needs to dominate more and develop an energetic, physical side to his game. There's also the lack of goals. Tuchel has alot of high quality midfield players to choose from and I don't think Wharton is among them yet

Certainly a surprise yesterday. No one expected that performance from him or the team Can he do it regularly though, instead of one good game in 10? On past form that's doubtful -

What pills did Hedges take this morning? If it were a horse race there'd be a stewards inquiry -

Hedges seemingly a first choice pick every match tells you everything That's a relegation team Hull 2 Rovers 0 -
Wrexham AFC, the Welsh football club owned by two Hollywood actors, expects commercial revenue this season to rival some mid-sized Premier League teams, a sign of how its international fan base is helping it outperform off the pitch. Story in the FT. https://www.ft.com/content/9e9c67f9-fa26-42f0-940d-44d48fe105ba Ambition and a plan. And some say we should be grateful for the owners we have and we're a small club no one is interested in buying

Rovers fans were attacking opposition players on the pitch in 1926 https://ewoodpark.jimdofree.com/blackburn-has-no-lads-from-the-terraces-crowd-trouble-blackburn-youth-elders/ Mercer and I were there 😀 -

Good luck and I wish them well; all I'm saying is that in 15 years the club is a continuing state of chaos and decline and nothing has worked. In my opinion the latest softly softly approach is likely to end the same way. Workers don't want to go on strike but sometimes they are forced into a corner and have no other choice and have to take direct action. This is where we are now - in my opinion -

I do what I can at my age but we were there in the trenches when it mattered Thousands on the pitch did make a difference then - and only a few were arrested. The same would likely happen now If you don't try you'll never know -

The apparent lack of passion and acceptance about the club's decline is astonishing to older generations. We didn't have the internet then to moan and complain from our armchairs so we made ourselves heard in the only way we knew - by getting on the pitch and in front of the directors box to let them know how we felt It worked Hull 2 Rovers 0 -

To be fair to Jackson and the LET the story has been reported and edited correctly. The "strange" in the headline is in quotes to show it is attributable and not a comment. Jackson could of course do an opinion piece on Rovers' performance in the transfer window so far - and whether the club has been truthful or not. -

It’s the small mistakes that make the difference between winning and losing. Both Brum goals should not have happened and were the result of basic errors by players who are inexperienced and probably not good enough for the Championship anyway. Of more concern is the lack of skill and creative ability and goalscoring power. It’s obvious this team will struggle to score goals. Put together over the course of a season they will lead to relegation -
Heavy heart and desperately hope it’s the wrong call but it looks serious this time. Everything about the club doesn’t feel right. The team isn’t good enough. Today was a foretaste of what it’s going to be like this season. Lots of effort and application but the lack of quality and experience gets found out Grim.

AFAIK Coar has been a constant throughout the chaos and decline of the. past 15 years. If he really cared about the club he would have resigned at some stage in protest. But he hasn’t, he’s never even made a public statement that I’m aware of, so the only conclusion must be is that he’s fully signed up to and supports the current regime -

Cantwell has his faults and detractors but he’s one of the few if not the only player we’ve got who has a bit of skill and eye for a pass to unlock defences. Who else has any creativity? He has to play if he’s fit -
