  1. I woz there. Made the mistake of sitting near some Birmingham fans and nearly got lynched when I celebrated that goal. Brilliant team, would walk this division now
  2. Rovers sold about 1,000 of 2,000 allocation so far Tickets available on the gate for those thinking of going
  3. I don't think he'll go far. Brighton to Lewes is only about 10 miles. They play in the Isthmian League. That's about his level at present
  4. Two seasons in a row we were in with a real chance of the playoffs (or better) and would probably have made it with 1 or 2 judicious signings This season we're in desperate need of good signings to avoid getting involved in a relegation battle Will we make them? On past form not a chance
  5. Local journalists are the only ones who might be asking questions. No one else is interested though the MSM might take notice if we get relegated Tomasson is a favourite on here because of his plain speaking Nordic ways and “attractive” playing style but he’s much less popular at Ewood and will be largely responsible as all managers are if we go down
  6. I'm thinking of going. West Brom is one of my favourite away trips, a ground I like and a decent set of fans. Last 2 games have been draws for me there and I'd be happy with a point this time. Anyone know if we can pay on the gate?
  7. If that’s an attempt to claim Wahlstedt is a half a decent keeper it doesn’t work.
  8. Nonsense, and not from where I was standing in Stamford Bridge. One or two players excepted (including the ienpt Moran), Rovers gave a good account of themselves.
  9. Excellent player, very disappointed to see him go and reinforces the daft decision to let Phillips go
  10. Class above Class 1 at primary school maybe. Moran is a weak and physically ineffective schoolboy footballer. The Chelsea league cup match was a case in point as to his level - totally out of his depth
  11. My first thought. You’d think Rovers would have insisted on a clause in the deal
  12. Horrible draw and a banana skin for Rovers. Wrexham a club on the way up will more than fancy their chances against a struggling Championship club on its way down.
  13. And I gave reasons why Telalovic hasn’t got what it takes
  14. Replies to a post about Telalovic by citing Jamie Vardy then denies saying Telalovic could have a career like Jamie Vardy Thanks for the info about Jamie Vardy by the way. Despite following football closely all my life I never knew any of that stuff. What a revelation
  15. I wouldn't normally reply to you because it's liking arguing with a brick wall but Telalovic is not another Jamie Vardy.
  16. That's not my job matey. Are you related to Chaddy?
  17. You said that. As far as I'm aware we're not making fire sales yet We have a young squad that desperately needs good, experienced reinforcements and the free transfer market is an obvious place to look when finances are tight I'm surprised this needs pointing out to one so knowledgeable
  18. Including cash strapped clubs making fire sales. Next
  19. Hundreds of players available on free transfers.....including some of the best in the world. Do you know anything about football?
  20. Plenty of experienced players available on free transfers
  21. With a small squad and apparently no money, we don’t have “time”, another development player who may or may not good. And from what I’ve seen, other than a willingness to run around a lot, there’s not much ability I’m afraid
  22. He’s 24, in his prime years. He’s not going to get much better so what you see now is probably as good as it gets. Like Vale he looks like a non-league striker to me
  23. ........ against Rotherham? That was the first proper view I've had of the lad and I would hardly label him "good". He's a willing worker and chases every cause but dear me, the ability and quality are sorely lacking. He'll probably end up in non-league football back in Germany
  24. Decent move for him if true. He’s not good enough at present for the Championship. Hopefully an indication too that we’ll have a striker coming in. A much better one
  25. Good to score 5 goals but soft powder puff defending again and no sign of players or manager knowing how to fix it. And sign an experienced goalkeeper in the window please. The Rotherham lad will do just fine
