  1. Travis back is good and ought to be in the starting XI although his Cambridge fans club won't be pleased. Siggi I'm not sure about - just don't think much of him as a player. Ennis - who knows? Will he get injured by a passing butterfly between now and the game?
  2. And again, thanks for the info. Looks like we're signing a whole new team
  3. My, Gregg has been busy and it's wonderful to see Rovers so active in the transfer market for a change. Could you provide a source please?
  4. Have to agree I'd be amazed if we win this one though it's on occasions like this when the odds are stacked against us that Rovers sometimes pull off a surprise win. For that to happen though every player will have to be on their mettle with no silly mistakes and the chances we are offered will have to be taken Possibly Rovers 2 Leeds 1 More realistically Rovers 0 Leeds 3
  5. Not brilliant, not the best we might have and certainly not Premier League - I was at Stamford Bridge when he was given the run-around by Raheem Sterling, - but a solid player who rarely lets us down. Pleased he's staying
  6. Cracking reply that, snide but typical Fact is, I've thoroughly enjoyed watching the Lionesses these past few years; the standard of football is excellent and getting better all the time and unlike most of their male counterparts the players are a credit to themselves and their country England's absence from the Nations League finals and the Great Britain team from the Olympics as a result of tonight's results is deeply disappointing and yeah, it feels worse at the moment than a Rovers defeat because a Rovers defeat happens quite often and doesn't have the same consequences. There's always another game a few days later. So there you go: an explanation if that's what you wanted. Now you have a try .
  7. Gutting, feels worse than a Rovers defeat
  8. England men's v women's cricket, men v women at tennis, or rugby, boxing. It's irrelevant.
  9. A daft and irrelevant question.
  10. The only better draw for you would have been Rovers away to Cambridge. Lewis Travis captain for the day, what do you think ?
  11. We're at our peak now IMO and it's unlikely to get better from here. The squad, the players, the manager are maxed out and with difficult fixtures coming thick and fast, there's no respite in this league.
  12. The score line tells the story. We lost to the better team. The referee didn’t miss easy chances or give easy goals away
  13. We were well beaten because we weren't good enough. Losers blame referees
  14. Opponents of the women's game always point to goalkeeping standards yet in the men's game goalkeepers makes bad mistakes all the time. It's not unusual across the board; the Birmingham keeper in midweek was dreadful. Goalkeeping standards IMO are generally worse than they used to be and many of those currently playing first team football wouldn't have got past the reserve team years ago. Wahlstedt is one of them
  15. Blaming the ref ..... last resort of a well beaten team
  16. It's a long, long season and it's a tough league. The numbers (and quality) just aren't there
  17. Our nice lads beaten by a load of alehouse footballers - again. A wake-up call really. You don't get in the playoffs with performances and results like that.
  18. And 3-1 Dreadful performance. Spoilt the weekend after the excitement of England's win last night
  19. 2-1 down Losing to Sheffield bleeding Wednesday The curse of Mercer
  20. About to post that horrible early goal was going to do us. Then we score!
  21. And the lifetime achievement award for dumbest comment goes to....
  22. We're missing Lewis Travis most though, don't you think?
  23. Siggi being injured is actually a bonus - just don't rate the lad at all. The squad is down to bare bones and the team picks itself now because there's few alternatives. Even if no one else gets injured there's no scope for resting out of form players and changing the team for tactical reasons is out of the question. It's unsustainable and hopes of a top 6 finish likely to be dashed. Come on Rovers
