  1. I was just suggesting things that people may want to be bettered as part of the overall package, whether it is food, drinks etc. It doesn't have a major effect like price etc so don't get too hung up on that part. My point is that Venkys clearly don't either see Waggott as doing a poor job or care enough to be monitoring it properly. Either way, they haven't sacked him so a huge worry.
  2. Apparently Ennis made 38 appearances but only completed 90 minutes 3 times. He often was taken off and regularly had little niggles.
  3. Pretty simple. Ticket sales are piss poor, mainly down to price, but also not helped by advertising, matchday experience etc. Waggott continues in his job. Either Venkys think he is doing a good job, or don't care enough to get rid. Either is a worry.
  4. Its irrelevant to be honest what is said. Why hasnt he been sacked considering how low our attendances are? No questions asked. Why can you only have a whinge if you attend a meeting about chronic failings of the club? Surely you more than anyone can testify that what we say means nothing. You went to regular meetings for over a year with Waggott, bigging him up, saying things will change albeit everything was cryptic. And now youve finally seen through it.
  5. And seemingly never questioned by the owners so god knows how long he will stay and even then, probably replaced by someone with the same attitude.
  6. I am not defending him, he is doing a terrible job. But the owners must either be totally disinterested or think he is doing a good job to let him continue. Both are hugely worrying and will lead to further damage.
  7. Compared to the owners he is. Those owners dont seem to think he has done anything wrong for a start. No doubting that he needs to go ASAP.
  8. Of course, he is accountable and not fit for purpose. Says a lot that he seemingly isn't seen that way by the owners. Everyone needs to be accountable, including the managers and players. But the owners are by far the biggest problem.
  9. The owners, somehow. Everything pales into insignificance whilst they continue to mismanage us, even the CEO. If we assume that the question is after the owners have left, then replace Waggott and a total re think of pricing. @Miller11 is right too on the attitude.
  10. No I am not certain, no one is, but surely they are just common practice and it would be a big mistake even if one or two dont.
  11. You can shave a big fraction off going forward for relegation wage drops. And a number of those will be attractive to new clubs so it will come massively down and be supplemented by parachute money.
  12. Those wages are not verified so might be wrong (Klich has left for a start) and likely will include relegation % reduction clauses to be fair. And most of the top earners will likely be the ones that potentially will be taken by other clubs.
  13. Even if Ennis does the business, too late to rectify last season. Not sure I get Graham vibes from Ennis either. Graham had scored goals at Premier League level and was a veteran target man, no pace, good in the air, master of using his brain. Ennis seems like a quick, youngish poacher who runs in behind but I dont think scored a single header. Chalk and cheese.
  14. Everton would definitely be better off keeping Dyche, he is a good manager tarnished by unfair labels. He took them over in 19th and has such a imbalanced, injury squad on his hands. They might have a challenge on their hands again next season to avoid the drop assuming they again have no money. Maybe Pickford will be on the chopping block, will potentially generate an over inflated fee due to being England's number 1 but nothing special. Onana is their main asset and would leave a big hole and if they can get any fee for Calvert-Lewin then they may aswell take it as he is useless always injured. Unsure what to make of the relegated sides, all likely to have massively different squads and new managers. Russell Martin would be a poor appointment for Southampton who will likely lose Ward Prowse, Lavia and a few others will get attention including Salisu and Walker Peters. Leicester need a reset, a new manager and will inevitably lose Maddison, Barnes and of course Tielmans and Soyuncu. Unsure what to make of Leeds, again they need a new manager but I am not sure that they have that many assets that could be sold for good money.
  15. Im not sure the O'Brien deal is as objective as that. But either way, hard luck stories aside, he had a task to get a striker and he didnt get a striker. It is as simple as that.
  16. Dean Smith isnt a particularly good manager and wouldnt be a good appointment. They dont need stability on what has taken them down, they need a reboot.
  17. Even amidst a relegation decider 😂
  18. Broughton didn't ruin anything by nearly signing players? Aye, ok then.
  19. Lampard will be hoping to improve on his hilariously bad record of 4 points from 8 games today against a Newcastle side that I suspect will be on the beach with players carrying knocks potentially given a day off. If Pochettino comes in, he could potentially come into some answers to their problems already at his disposal. Nkunku missed 3 months of the season and still finished as Bundesliga top scorer even though he isn't necessarily always an out and out striker and it will be interesting to see if he keeps Lukaku. He has been in and out at Inter due to Martinez and Dzeko but has still had a decent season and is still a huge upgrade on what they have. Also Levi Colwill comes back in defence after an excellent season at Brighton with Badiashille injured likely into next season. I don't think necessarily that a lot of the unnecessary players (Loftus Cheek, Pulisic, Ziyech, Mount, Aubameyang, maybe Gallagher) will be that difficult to shift necessarily.
  20. Can't see past Everton getting a win in a fixture which they would have struggled to hand pick better.
  21. Didnt get too much stick because his performances in a Rovers shirt were consistently awful. Whether he has improved or not since is irrelevant.
  22. It was! I certainly don't think they are anything but terrible owners.
  23. And normal time ended with a terrible Amarii Bell cross. Dont change. A few comments about Venkys and our comparative trajectorys post Venkys. A lot of ungratefulness towards owners who are in the top 10% of owners because they havent got us any points deductions.
  24. Bizarre videos are just the norm nowadays for player announcements. Think the very young aspect of the fanbases lap it up across the board.
