  1. What happened to Hyam not playing at the weekend?
  2. Why is the market "strange?" All of these situations with players contracts were predictable and are entirely of our own making. We cant use them as excuses. I remember being told to "stop going on about" the situations but they were always going to be the main overriding issue in this window.
  3. I was told that I was just making excuses by suggesting that better strikers create chances for themselves. We have a very nice mix of a lack of quality both up front and behind/around it. We dont score many and we dont have many chances.
  4. Still no progress on a signing according to Ismael. Lots of excuses for the first 2 losses, well 3 but Ismael refusing to count the cup one. Im sure he would count it had we beat the mighty Bradford.
  5. "Different people have left for different reasons." Aye, absolutely no pattern in us not offering deals with any proactivity and when we finally get round to it, not at the going rate for a Championship player.
  6. They seem like very generous ratings to me. Especially in attack. Take the 2 wingers and striker. Between them, not doubting work rate but 7 suggests slightly above average. Between them, I can only remember the one chance where Hedges played in somewhat of a lofted cross that created a difficult header for Kargbo which never felt likely to really trouble the keeper. Have to do more in possession to cause problems. Tavares was a lot quieter but he played major roles in the concession of both goals.
  7. Thought he was just Ryan Hedges with instagram?
  8. We really are hard up if we cant or wont sign players until we allow 3 players, none of them involved in first team squads, and none of whom will be on much, to be bundled out of the door.
  9. You have clearly not read anything I or anyone else has put if that is your reply.
  10. You keep saying "stock piling" players as if we have already got a well rounded squad full of quality. Who these random scouts find is driven by how much money they have. We are given peanuts by the owners. We dont create enough chances nor do we take enough of the ones we do. Our attack is really poor and I suspect that we wont fix that come the end of the window. You will then justify that by saying that its right not to "stock pile" players. Lets just keep the sub par ones we already have.
  11. What? Of course he/she clearly does know what is going on. They keep leaking transfer news etc before anyone else. But it is not "good communication" and it is quire frankly amateurish and grossly unprofessional that we are blocking journalists from asking difficult questions, whilst an insider under an anonymous twitter account repeatedly tweets information. The motive for this is clearly to paint the club in a good or at least powerless light and to turn the anger onto outgoing players. The same account has also got into twitter spats with fans who see through them, for example calling (I think) Glen Mullan a "doom merchant." If you genuinely think that tweeting club secrets through an anonymous twitter account, blocking difficult questions in press conferences and altering minutes from fans forums (which I know you have read but wont comment on) and acting petulantly and unprofessionally during those meetings is all good communication. Then even for you, that is ridiculous. This is well beyond what Ismael says in press conferences. The only issue with the way he approaches those is (in line with man management issues he has had at previous clubs) it risks upsetting team mates and of course, alienating a player who hasnt yet been sold. My issues are not with Ismael.
  12. You are creating scorelines that didnt happen and suggesting that the reaction would have been different had the result been different. I did likewise. Its not a difficult concept to follow.
  13. We dont create many chances although a part of that is strikers anticipating where the ball will fall. Our whole attack is very poor in the main. A massive area of weakness that we seem likely to think will be solved just by signing 1 winger. I see you have gone from us thinking we do need a striker based on your original opinion, to not in order to base your opinion, back to now needing one having seen how toothless we are. Sadly, seems unlikely. Examples like Mitrovic and Kyogo are obviously never going to be realistic but there is certainly a middle ground between that and how little we spend. Especially on wages hence why none of our players will sign new contracts.
  14. I think he only won 4 last season and 0 this?
  15. Had we scored 5 goals then we would have battered and embarassed them and Ismael would have been praised by everyone.
  16. A bitter insider posting transfer updates and painting players leaving as bad professionals whilst journalists are banned from asking certain questions is NOT good communication. You would either have to be unwilling to criticise the club, a bit stupid or have a vested interest at the club to suggest otherwise.
  17. 4 wins, 3 draws and 8 losses so far for Ismael.
  18. You are very keen to point out how bad other teams strikers are to try and justify us scrambling around for cheap players. Kyogo will score more goals than and is far better than our strikers. Our 2 strikers are average and poor, not many goals there.
  19. How can we be a decent Championship side and also relegation fodder? I also have seen and am about to see a lot of the fight in the side exiting.
  20. Peterborough's chairman is a knobhead but this is totally different anyway. Journalists being actively blocked from asking certain difficult questions but someone on the inside speaking behind an anonymous twitter handle spitting out pro club messages. I asked but didnt get an answer. You have been very pro Gestede and the current regime and having previously praised him, very noticeably keen to stick the boot into Eustace. Do you have no concerns as to the direction that the club is heading in, do you still have faith in the recruitment, no concerns about our total inability to keep our best players or sort new contracts and do you have any appreciation as to why Eustace couldnt stay, beside just being a "snake?"
  21. Theres not that much quality in general in our price range and with the wages we offer.
  22. @Mercer I thought that Hyam wouldnt play?
  23. The desperation has kicked in, not only the club parrot but now just relentlessly going down the route of blasting negativity and moaning. If you really rate Ismael then a simpler answer would be to just say so. All this other crap is totally unnecessary.
  24. But that didnt happen. I wouldnt be moaning had we won 7 nil playing free flowing attacking football either.
