  1. The players have proved time and time again at Ewood this season that they are complete bottle jobs. We have barely taken a point off anyone at home and just turn up expecting to lose these days. All we hear before these 'crucial' games is about how the fans need to get behind them and all stick together. Then when Saturday comes they play like non-league plodders kicking them in their own net or passing it out of play. Then after the game the manager and players say "we have an incredible opportunity next week to put it right". Well guess what dickheads you have run out of games.
  2. As soon as I saw it mentioned in the fans forum that the average ticket at other clubs has gone up 3/4% or whatever its clear what is being positioned. Best we could hope for is a price freeze ( which as another poster said is £50 more than most paid last year). If PNE tickets are £250 does that make ours almost £200 more expensive? Plus no free child places. And the club/players wonder why we are all so pissed off and won't renew.
  3. Presumably the Wharton and Raya money will be drip feed in small amounts over their contracts. That probably means Szmodic goes to keep us going till after xmas. That or they will have to take out some dodgy loan like last time. This £1 for £1 offsetting with the bank of India seems to be pie in the sky as they could have already done that if it was the case.
  4. Yeah I suppose. It at least lets Waggot know it’s one less ST sale next year
  5. I said I wasn’t going after last Sunday but I am a glutton for punishment. As a bonus it gives me an opportunity to launch my season ticket on the pitch in disgust at the end. Confident of another loss and those below winning. Then we have to beat Leicester on the final day.
  6. Reading those minutes, wow, it’s like entering a different reality.
  7. With injuries, contact expiries and expected sales the squad next year could be the worst ever to grace Ewood park. It’s been bad enough watching us at home this season but next year could be 0-3 losses week in week out.
  8. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24273366.season-tickets-will-greater-test-blackburn-fans-ever/ As well as the story there are some good ideas and similar points of view in the comments to this as there is on here. I really hope Waggot has got the general mood of supporters leading into him releasing the prices as will go down like a lead balloon unless its a massive reduction and promises of investment in the match day experience.
  9. I think at this point unless they give them away for free they will be lucky to get 5k sales next year.
  10. Agree with most of this. As soon as Adam Wharton left it took the only creativity out of the team, a player who could make a forward pass to change the game. All we are left with is plodders who work hard but hate having the ball at their feet. Its like a hot potato and they cant wait to pass it 6 yards to someone else to remove the responsibility for it. If I was Sam Gallagher and got any grief for my goal record I'd just respond with that fact that he gets zero chances created for him. How is he going to score with balls launched into orbit for him whilst he is just past the halfway line. The squad is a total shit show full of similar players, no wingers, no strikers, no creativity, no pace, no dribbling and no power. Whatever summer budget we have must be spent on 4-5 attacking players.
  11. So far this season I have sat and watched us lose to... Hull City Sunderland Leicester Swansea Preston Leeds Watford Queens Park Rangers Ipswich Sheffield Wednesday Combined with fantastic home draws to teams such as.. Rotherham Plymouth Huddersfield Millwall I have seen us win only once (v Stoke) since the 12th December. If anyone thinks we are going to beat Coventry then think again.
  12. Well he will have to replace my season ticket with an away fan every game next year as I won’t be going. maybe that’s his plan after all, probably makes more money out of them than us.
  13. Poor player and a really unlikeable captain. Would be out the door and replaced at a normal club this summer.
  14. With performances like today and Bristol last week I honestly think we deserve to go down. I’ve seen us win one home game since early December and before that only a few more since the start of the season. It’s a shit team on the field and a circus off it. You only get out of life what you put in and regards investment, talent and effort we will get what we deserve.
  15. This guy has shown nothing to deserve keeping his job once the seasons over. Regardless of if we stay up the results have been abysmal and the lack of accountability from him and the team stinks.
  16. Add another one to the pile of home defeats this season. Gutless, useless and overpaid bunch of clowns on and off the field. They don’t care and it shows on the pitch. All Sheff Wed did was want it more than we did.
  17. Agree, could have gone for £50m and we would still be looking at frees and loans. It’s just offset against the money Venkys have to send over for a year or two. Pure Waggot if you ask me as sure Gregg is asking for some of it to spend as per the ‘model’.
  18. I tried to look at the table and work out if we can be mathematically safe if we dont lose to Sheff Wed but went cross eyed. I think its better to see how Saturday plays out then discuss prior to our sunday kick off 😆
  19. For the love of god please buy a couple of fast tricky wingers and a couple of strikers it would turn us into an actual decent team. If the club buy or loan any more ‘no 10’s we deserve to go down next season.
  20. Unbelievable, glad I didn’t watch as guarantee we lose if I did. Fair play they needed to show up after midweek. Gives us a chance of staying up.
  21. That for me sums up why we deserve to be relegated, I think we draw or lose all of our remaining games.
  22. I’m not watching as still seething from last night. If Hyam plays it could be a cricket score and he should be dropped for Carter for the rest of the season.
  23. I think both will see us relegated. JDT couldn't defend and JE can't attack. The club need a rethink in the summer on the manager front whatever the league we end up in.
  24. Feels nailed on after last night, the goal difference was a big thing in our favour but after last night and presumably another drubbing at Leeds it will count for nowt. Us and Birmingham to drop.
  25. Still fuming this morning, I still can't see an apology from the manager or players in the post match interviews. At any functioning club there would be repercussions from a performance and result like that. Here it will just be ignored as a bad night.
