  1. On the football, we had a shed-load of chances to score, and they got a lucky goal. Not sure what else to say.
  2. Ended up with a passable Domaine Bandol. Ed wasn't in so no Rovers' chat.
  3. Not sure what that means, but I'm heading to the wine shop owned by the Uncle of one of our staring eleven, to pick up something to go with a cotes de bouef. So all is not lost.
  4. This is the correct answer. Also, spending £50 on a red would have be heading for Burgundy too.
  5. A half of two games - under the cosh, then a great spell of dangerous attacking Rovers' play.

  7. That's true if we didn't have seven games in Feb....
  8. TM was asked this by LT, worth looking up his answer.
  9. A deserved win IMHO. Not a great performance, but we kept going forward and grabbed the goal.
  10. A reasonable first half, just need to get on the end of a decent move.
  11. The lad made a mistake that was a penalty and probably a red card. These refereeing mistakes happen routinely and generally even themselves out. Boro still had 80 minutes to beat, but didn't. Warnock is an arse of the highest order, maybe the worst in football, and behaved disgustingly. Can we agree that these are the facts?
  12. As bad as it's been until the goal. After it, we never looked like conceding. Getting Buckley off, and getting some shape and strength to the team (and Dack) showed up how bad a decision bringing on young John was. Born were crap BTW.
  13. Poor again, although Boro are no great shakes. We look like we are playing a handful of kids across the middle of pitch. No pattern, few chances and inviting a dead-ball goal.
  14. Why is there much abuse aimed at TM? Can't we have a discussion without using this disrespectful language?
  15. Not sure, which is why I used this term.
  16. Well I think it helps when you have eleven fit players on the pitch and a central midfielder who can pass the ball forward. Somehow TM got a combination of players on the pitch that undid Stoke and should have gone on to win. That said I think it's at the stage where the decision-makers might be asking TM how he sees us progressing this season.
  17. Very poor. Central midfield is key and we are too deep and ponderous - Travis looks very poor and needs some time in the 23s to get fit. Elliot is also struggling and Rothwell looks out-of-sorts. The only good news has been the new lad and a passable half from Douglas. Have to say against their astute manager, this game looks done and dusted.
  18. The thing about Trybull is that he's not physical enough to proect the back four, or creative enough to get the ball into the right areas of the pitch quickly - so far anyway. he may perform better in a different system.
