  1. I don't that's true. We have a far better squad and are playing a better brand of football IMHO!!
  2. Not really. Is the league weaker, or stronger? Did we have this amount of injuries? Are we better prepared for the remainder of the season. Lots of variables. And yes, as the saying goes, football is a game of opinions.
  3. Yes, that was my point Ace. Played the top teams and we're not there yet.
  4. We are a far better team than two years ago, and yes it's right to be frustrated, but we are improving and have some real talent on the pitch. So, it's one thing to be disappointed, it's another not to note where are we getting better, who've we've just played and some of the young players we have to come back. A bit of balance is called for. As ever.
  5. Let's see, end of the season. We've just played three of the top teams and not been far away.
  6. Is there a more depressing place to come after a Rovers' defeat? I think we have made significant progress in our general play and in our overall ability, and we can only hope that the returning players will improve our performances. However we are playing catch-up with the relegated teams and some better funded outfits than us. I think TM hasn't worked out how to turn promising performances against the better teams into points. If he does, we are looking at a good season: if not then there's a good discussion to be had.
  7. Fine margins of defeat against the top teams for us. Let's hope that a more settled team with the two or three tops players we have missing can make a difference.
  8. Norwich have defended well and picked us off on the break. They are a very good team, but we played okay in spells and with a bit of luck we could have been in front. I worry that they will go up a gear if they need to.
  9. What a load of cry-babies. We could have won this game, but we played a good side who have a far more settled team than us and they nicked it near the end. What other fans slag off the league's top scorer?
  10. An even half and some sublime play from Elliot. Can't wait to see him in the flesh - what a wonderful, wonderful footballer. With so many changes, no complaints from me.
  11. As good a second half as we have played, given the circumstances. And Buckley was superb at right back. A very happy Rover.
  12. The boss suggested that Johnson sounds was suffering from an injury.
  13. From the boss: "I think what we’ve found is that we’re probably not good enough just to play how we want and dominate the game, we have to adjust."
  14. We can always score a goal from very little and teams are scared to death of us. So even when we aren't playing that well in the middle of the pitch, we can win games.
  15. Racism is never too far away on a Millwall forum is it?
  16. From LT: “Joe Rothwell has been complaining to me for two days that his hamstrings are screaming,” Mowbray said. “We can’t afford to lose players like Joe Rothwell. “Bradley Johnson has had a sore back, Rothwell sore hamstring and thighs, what do you do? Do you keep playing them and see your main players drop off one by one?
  17. Defence looks okay, attack is okay it's the bit in between that's not working.
  18. I thought Barnsley's formation was 3-4-2-1
  19. Holtby was anonymous and we looked half the team. Well done again to Barnsley. A nice glass of white graves.
  20. Well-played Barnsley, but if you don't take your chances we haves a couple of players who will. Hopefully we can play better next half.
