  1. This feels like a huge game. If we can move 4 points clear of the playoffs it really puts the pressure on Bournemouth (and QPR) to avoid slip ups. Hopefully close to a full strength side again.
  2. Bruce the early favourite
  3. 6 of those 8 current players are injured
  4. Sounds like just Giles (although he says Deals plural)
  5. Anyone trying to claim this window has been a success needs their head examining. Whilst we’re sat 2nd in the league, our best position since relegation….we’ve loaned a back up for Nyambe, a forward for our bench/the future, a right back from the Irish league (for the future?) and potentially a loan to cover for Pickerings injury. Barely spending a penny. Whilst being beaten to signings by our rivals (Dembele). On top of of that Bournemouth have picked up Cantwell, Moore and played us like a fiddle with Rothwell
  6. I mean come on, they could filter out the rubbish though. Elliott was starting for Liverpool pre-injury. They could just file that one under ‘b*llshit’ the second it was passed on to them.
  7. Haha - surely these weren’t the two deals posters were cryptically saying were possible. Absolutely no chance whatsoever.
  8. Multiple disappointments in coming. Looking forward to hearing the names though!
  9. That tweet goes on to suggest we’d accept £5million. HAHAHAHAHAHA
  10. Assume this is the same player from your comment the other day in the closed thread...
  11. Wasn't Giles leading the league in assists at Cardiff? Would be a brilliant addition, and I'd be surprised if we pull it off. The Wolves forum thought he'd be slotting straight into their matchday squad when he was recalled from Cardiff at the start of the month. EDIT: it's a loan deal so far more realistic
  12. Called it. Housewives of Windy City for his missus now
  13. How sweet is it going to be watching them lose in the playoffs again whilst we’re already on the promotion beach. I wanted promotion in the PNE match but changed that to the Bournemouth match now. Imagine fancying rocking up to the part-timers under the clown Parker. If they fail this year they’re in the doldrums for the feasible, pissing money each year. COYB
  14. Wouldn’t surprise me if Bournemouth get Dembele and Cantwell and decide to pull out of the Rothwell deal. They’ve done enough to upset our camp and don’t need all 3 of them.
  15. Not a chance he goes to Bournemouth surely. We just reject their offer regardless and accept Chicago / Any Other. If he wants out he has his chance….just not to Bournemouth / QPR / Boro / Sheff Utd etc.
  16. Ha - would be hilarious, his missus can fly off and leave family and friends behind for a bit of MLS.
  17. I’ve missed the last 10 or so pages….is he allegedly off to Chicago now?
  18. A tiny tiny part of me thinks this too. We definitely shouldn’t sell to them at any cost, and I’m sure if he’s off it’s too the Prem. Never the less, if it’s Bournemouth, what more motivation do the team need for the remainder.
  19. A fairly solid 0-0, I thought we were lucky to be level at HT but 2nd half they did nothing and a point was fair enough overall. I think I counted 7 academy players out of 11 on the pitch at one point, very impressive but obviously shows our lack of depth. Our best 10 minutes was around the hour mark and it was the time Buckley was growing into the match more, making that substitution even more bizarre, as we did absolutely nothing afterwards. Back line were superb again, especially Van Hecke. Travis the other man who stood out to me, it was his kind of match (scrappy). Likewise Johnson did a job and fair play he’s managed back to back 90 minutes. It puts a little bit more pressure on the Swansea match, but a win there and we’ve got to be delighted with 4 points from the 2 fixtures (and 4 points clear of 3rd). For a bit of perspective, Luton were favourites for this match and getting through Boro (50/50) and Luton (Luton favs) with 4 points and no Brereton, Dolan, Rothwell, Pickering (Khadra for 1 match) as well as others, has to be seen as a success Now let’s get back to loaning some 16 year old lads and selling Rothwell to our rivals!
  20. Attitude is the big one for me (linked to his fitness). He is constantly sulking. We’re 2nd in the league and you’re on the pitch you should be absolutely loving life and grafting your boll*cks off!
  21. Lockyer is some filth isn’t he. Proper vile footballer
  22. Basically an academy side out there now. Come on lads!
  23. Lucky to be 0-0 not sure about so far so good. Gallagher has reverted to type, for such height and size he is so weak and poor at holding the ball up. I also feel like he’s too far wide on the left (not his fault). We should be getting at them through the middle. Hopefully we come out with a bit more aggression and ambition.
  24. I’ve got the Rovers comms on mine and they’re growing on me a little. They stuck a nice dig in on Gavin Ward earlier on
