  1. Just shows how close it is. 9 teams have a difference from 70% (4/9) chance to 20% (4/1) chance of top 6 finish (Fulham and Bournemouth excluded). We have the easiest run-in in the whole league. Win on Saturday and I’d be amazed if we throw it away after that.
  2. Agree completely with the team choice, also wouldn't be disappointed if it's Buckley instead of Vale (with Dolan and Khadra as the 'wider strikers')
  3. First time for months that we’ve gone odds against for a top 6 finish. Now Sheff Utd, Luton, Boro, Forest and Huddersfield all favourites over us now. Criminal from Mowbray and the staff given we were 2nd at Christmas.
  4. I agree I thought it was nonsense too. Point still stands that Mowbray has said he didn’t want to sign a striker and has no regrets on January. Therefore, can’t blame the owners for this current shambles.
  5. Didn’t we allegedly bid for Solanke? The money was there if true. Mowbray has even came out and said he doesn’t look back with any regrets on not signing a striker. I’m not blaming the owners for this shit show (they are to blame for a bloody lot of the last 10 years though)
  6. The Gallagher goal was 9 games ago I think!
  7. Dolan and Dack on for Gallagher and Buckley/Rothwell. As others have said; Dolan wins MOTM then gets dropped - madness. 10 games unbeaten with Sam Gallagher not starting a single one. 8 games with 1 goal and Sam Gallagher started in most of them!
  8. Worst we’ve played for a while this. Don’t look like we’re up to much.
  9. Bang on.....with 10 games to go we only play 1 team in the Top 10 (Bournemouth at Home), compared to Huddersfield who have 5/10 against the Top 10. Like you said it's a massive opportunity that hopefully we don't rue with results like Tuesday night. Hopefully somebody can stick the ball in the net and we pick up 6 points from the next 2 at home! Unless we get that i'll still be nervy regardless of who we have to play.
  10. Another shocker from a Championship referee
  11. Yeah - twice he has just dribbled out of play as he doesn’t want to use his right. Baffling
  12. Millwall look so average and the reality is we missed 2 absolute sitters (JRC and Gallagher), otherwise it would be game over. Giles on the right hand side is looking as baffling as we all predicted pre-match. Worst 45 mins I can ever remember from Gallagher, and there’s been some bad ones. A few occasions Buckley has turned his man, looked up and Gally is nowhere, whilst Giles is hogging the right touch line. Dolan must be sat on the bench scratching his head, after a MOTM display in our last home game. Van Hecke is the best player on the pitch. Criminal if we don’t take 3 points from this, they’ve had 1 touch in our box all half, no shots, and we’ve already missed clear cut chances.
  13. He should not be coming out again 2nd half.
  14. Is there anybody in the sport with a worse first touch than Sam Gallagher
  15. Ah thank you. I'm assuming the 1st yellow doesn't count against Forest then as it resulted in a Red Card. So he has had 9 yellows and 1 red (2 x yellows). I'd be amazed if he gets through the next 2, likewise Travis.
  16. Is Lenihan banned for this? He's on 10 yellows for the season. Buckley/Travis on 9 are 1 away from a 2 game ban and Rothwell on 8 should be safe. Feels like a huge game in our season. Decent favourites whilst Sheff Utd play Boro and Luton play Coventry. A win versus Millwall and it will feel massive regardless of what happens elsewhere.
  17. But if you look back to earlier in the season, those Swansea chances were dropping in the net. It’s classic xG despite whether people hate that analysis or love it. Look today, QPR losing at home to Cardiff etc. We’re not going to finish in the top 2, but let’s be realistic, we can do what we have to finish in the top 6. Then let’s just enjoy it, it’s been a shite 10 years, I remember being in a pub in Brentford when we were relegated to League 1. Fuck I’d like to be in a boozer in Huddersfield/Sheffield/Middlesbrough or south London in May. Agree it’s worrying we’re not scoring but we are doing enough to win the games to see us in the playoffs (Battered QPR at home despite 1-0 and should have beaten SU….)
  18. We’ll see how it plays out. Should have had 4 versus Swansea and obvious issues with Sheff United. Agree we were shite against West Brom, Forest, Luton and Hull (the latter Mowbray changed the team) Just don’t think we should overreact too much to today. I’ll be first in line if we fuck it up in the next few matches.
  19. I’m pretty pessimistic with most things Rovers, who isn’t after the last few years but I can’t believe some of the stuff I read at times. Take a step back, we’re 4th in the league with 11 games to go (10 of which are against 11th or lower in the league). Even the most optimistic person on this board wouldn’t have said that at the start of the season. We lost to Fulham away - toughest game of the season - bring out the pitchforks if we get < 6 points from the next 3 home games
  20. Christ it’s mental. Imagine letting Nyambe go for free then we actually pay cash for bambi on ice. Just give Nyambe the money. He’s worth it when you consider what we’d have to spend on a replacement
  21. If we had lost at home to Cardiff I’d understand frustration. We just lost away to Fulham, the toughest of 46 fixtures over a season, whilst rivals lost at home to bottom half teams. It’s an open league, playoffs here we come.
  22. Yeah since Forest appointed Cooper they’re a top 6 team comfortably. It’s all to play for. But we’re in a great position, with our fixtures it would be a complete failure to miss out on the top 6. QPR will fall, next few games for ourselves are massive.
  23. Bournemouth, QPR, Luton, Coventry all lose (and Bournemouth if it matters) perspective is needed. As I’ve said, we’ve got a great run in - if we don’t make the top 6 now it’ll be a huge failure. Should comfortably get to 75+ points Good day for Boro and Huddersfield. Playoffs between ourselves, Boro, Hudds and Sheff Utd. Hopefully we draw the terriers for a big away day!
  24. I said recent performances, not been many wins or performances even in there
  25. You’re probably the only one on this messageboard who is extremely positive about recent performances (fair play to you), and saying you’re enjoying how we’ve been playing throughout February. What’s made you say you’d rather be in the conference north now?
