Try the Nabs Head at Samlesbury Bottoms. Good Thwaites and really decent food (good pub grub) at a decent price.

As a Leyland lad from the 70's I can assure you that whilst Leyland and Brig have always been PNE strongholds there has ALWAYS been a significant Rovers support. All my mates at Wellfield in Leyland were true blues in the 70's and 80's. ;-)

I have been to Jamies in Liverpool twice and it was disgusting, I will never go again (sounds bit like Ewood and the Venky idiots!) although I was recently in Jamies in Threadneedle Street in London and had a great meal - is it a franchise?

Has anyone been to Rossi in Manchester (upper King Street/Spring Gardens). I am there for lunch the week after next......followed by dinner at Northcote Manor and an overnight! I went to Northcote for my Birthday this week and an overnight. As always an absolutely smashing meal and a lovely room. I really do love the place.
